about time, thanks brother!

no ISO, shame. Anyone remember the workaround for Maschine saying library not installed correctly? The iso gives the installer to put files in the correct place. Using contents of the ISO, such as this one and manually adding user path and scanning doesn't install everything correctly and have to locate samples manually everytime. What's the fix?

Disappointed it hasn't got the install ISO,
We need the work around (Or Even Better The ISO)

so far I had to go and add it as a third part user bank, name an alias, rescan. Then upon switching to every kit, identify the samples it can't find and manually find them. After doing this with each kit and each project, should load, however, there's no graphic icon on the user kit which I dislike.

That's inconvenient. Check my comment below.

going to test it out now, I remember doing this with a previous library, not sure which one though. The only one that doesn't have the graphic icon is Body Mechanik, not sure if you have those resources?

Yes, for macOS you need to add the plist file into the Preferences folder located at:

Just copy an existing plist file for a different library to your Desktop, and rename it to Hazy Days.plist, Open it with Xcode or BBEdit and change the name inside from whichever plist of the already existing library name to Hazy Days. Save and place it in the Preferences folder. This will make Hazy Days expansion show up in the usual place within Maschine's browser and not in the User library section for third party stuff.

If the above still doesn't work, try deleting the komplete.db3. Open Finder and go to the Go menu and select "Go to Folder..." at the bottom of the menu and copy and paste the following into the search bar (note, replace the *YOUR USERNAME HERE* with your own one for your computer):

/Users/*YOUR USERNAME HERE*/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Maschine 2

and delete the komplete.db3 library file inside. Maschine will automatically rebuild this library file when you relaunch the standalone version and it should pick up the new plist file you created while it does that.

As for the MST thumbnail artwork, someone needs to provide those by uploading them and then we can download them and add them into the correct location:

We need to wait for the iso unfortunately. The NI Resouces files for Hazy Days aren't available so far.

I found the actual Hazy Days image file on the NI community forum:

Tried on mac but not working :(
  Member 19.08.2021 1 596
By the way, this expansion will only work on Maschine v2.17.4 or later, if you are running the previous version, it will not work. This is also the case for the legit versions, NI unfortunately does not make them backwards compatible on older Maschine versions.

Yeah sure, I tried method on Maschine v2.17.4 macOS

Hmm.. Sometimes when you copy a property list (plist) file from another library and use it to make a new plist, the path listed in Maschine settings in the Library tab is incorrect. Open Maschine, go to Menu at the top File > Settings (or go to Preferences within Maschine) and then when the window opens, go to the Library tab. Scroll down the list till you find Hazy Days. Double click on the path part and it will open a browser, find the location of the Hazy Days Library and press Choose. Then press Rescan. Hopefully, that works for you.

Also the .xml files. I suggest to change the uuid to something random with the same number characters and also the SNPID to a three letter code that does not conflict with other NI codes (check here, but list is not up to date:

Thanks for this, this instructions previously worked with some NON ISO expansions, but for this one, in my case it doesn’t work
  Member 25.10.2013 1 229
To fullfill this ----> to make the previews available. up and running. ----> following Terminal command has to be done.

Otherwise a reupload where this is done would be Helpful.
here is one Example:

find "/Volumes/*YOURHARDDRIVE*/NI Libraries/Maschine Libraries/Hazy Days Library/Sounds" \( -type d -name "previews" \) -execdir mv {} .previews \;

This command rename the Previews Folder into .previews of all the Following folders:

Bass | Battery Kits | Drum Synth | Mallet | Monark | Poly Synth |
Synth Lead |
Bass Synth | Brass | Guitar | Massive | Piano & Keys | Prism |
Synth Pad |

Without you have no Preview.
Keep that in Mind.
Good Luck.

only realized it later after downloading that it's not ISO. sad. need a lot of stuff to make it work manually but.. let's just wait for the ISO.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

To make it appear in Maschine

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Hazy Days]
"ContentDir"="S:\\Sample Libraries\\Native Instruments\\Factory\\Expansions\\Maschine\\Hazy Days"

Copy this into a txt-file (And change the path to the expansion)
Name the txt-file e.g. Hazy Days.reg
Double-Click the reg-file

We could also need the NI Resouces files, hope someone can share it.

For now, I helped myself
  Banned 12.11.2022 1043 2128
yea the reg fix didn't work for me in this one, unless maybe I take it out of the user library first?

Yes took out of user library and did registry fix then rescanned appears in factory content but no graphics still.

Do the reg fix above and for images, credit to echodealer over on RU for this fix:

You can download it from here:

I remind you that the archive downloaded from this link must be unpacked and the resulting hazy days folder must be placed
here for Win:

Thanks mate !

Are those images the originals or self-made ?

Btw: You get an incorrect link when you CLICK on the link. Better copy/paste that link in a new tab.
