[dead] Ilio Ethno Techno [AKAI, Kontakt, WAV]

Ethno Techno from Ilio is a sample library of groove innovation performed by Bashiri Johnson utilizing rare instruments that produce unheard of rhythms and textures. The sounds are organic, metallic, deep and glassy. Some were created by radically conceived, hand-welded instruments, others from more traditional skins and sticks.

Bashiri's accuracy and feel have long been in demand by musicians the world over. His loops are provided as mixes, elements and remixes, all Groove Control activated and include multi-sample menus also.

The Groove Control process cuts up the library into a huge amount of possible groove mixes and tempos. In turn this allows the user to adjust groove tempos, so that they can sync up with a host sequencer but also goes far beyond mere tempo shifting. It provides access to the pitch, feel, sound and in many cases the mix of the groove too.
