The XSample series of 9 CD-ROMs offers super high quality chromatic acoustic instruments in several velocity layers.

Vol. 1 features Keyed Instruments: Rhodes Mark I 88 (352 samples in 4 velocity splits). Wurlitzer electric piano (256 samples in 4 velocity splits). Stringed instruments E-bass (finger, slap, thumb with plectron, with muted, with stopped, with special FX).

Vol. 2 features Woodwinds: Alto saxophone with vibrato, staccato, slides, slaps, clack sounds. Bass flute with vibrato, staccato, slaps, clack sounds. Stringed instruments: 8 string guitar with finger, plectron, slaps, fret noises.

Vol. 3 features Brass: French horn with open, staccato, con sordino, stopped, stopped sforzato, cuРЅvre, special effects. Trumpet with open, staccato, harmon mute, cup mute, standard mute, and special effects. Trombone with open, staccato, cup mute, bucket and voice breathing.
