Splice Originals: Boléros was produced by Erick Bardales featuring multi-GRAMMY-winning percussionist Martin Flores and guitarist Miguel Angel Flores in Splice studios at The Sound Factory in Los Angeles, CA. The two artists employed congas, bongos, Toca maracas, and requinto guitars captured on vintage microphones and processed with a real-life EMT 140 Plate reverb and various guitar pedals for adding a psychedelic effect for a spacier take on boléro. If a song like "Esclavo Y Amo" by Los Pasteles Verdes would stop you in your tracks to get out the sampler, this pack is for you.

While traditional boléro is a slow form of Spanish dance music originating in Spain and Cuba, contemporary boléro is a hybrid of other Latin and ballroom dances, combining the lilting rise and fall of the waltz, the contra-body movement of tango, and the slow movement and Latin music associated with the rumba.

Martin Flores has over 30 years of experience in touring the world with artists like Joan Sebastian, Paulina Rubio, La Santa Cecilia, and Jenni Rivera. He's also played on multiple Platinum-selling albums, recording with the likes of Joan Sebastian, Marco Antonio-Solis, Pepe Aguilar, Vicente Fernandez, and Alejandro Fernandez, among many others.

Miguel Angel Flores’ musical sound is an amalgamation of various musical idioms, colors, and textures. His sound blends nuances of boléro, jazz, blues, R&B rock, pop, country, and classical guitar into a sonic melting pot that he calls his own. Miguel Angel plays alongside GRAMMY-nominated and GRAMMY Award-winning acts such as Lupita Infante and La Santa Cecilia.

Thank you for reupping this, Fantastic. This is such a tiny niche it's great to see some on here.

The pack is very good. I was expecting to find just the guitar loops but it comes with a full set of loops and one shots to be able to create full tracks. There's 27 main guitar loops which have been resampled 2-3 times each. This set should mash up well with some of the Flamenco sets out there.

Thanks for the content and inspiration.

I clicked on the reup button for you.

FYI, the powers that be would prefer that you contact the contributor or PiRAT directly to request reups instead of asking for them in the comments where they will mostly be ignored.

well that is the job of the Residents, I can only imagine Pirat getting 100 messages to reupload stuff when Residents can just click the reupload requested and the powers that be get notified

Yes, it is the job of the residents, and if Olymoon were around he'd be the one letting the members know that the forum rules essentially forbid the reup requests in the comments and that the protocol is to contact the contributor or "Cleaner" who is PiRAT.

I think it makes sense to allow members to request reups in the comments for the exact reason you cite. It's Olymoon (RIP), SAiNT, and PiRAT who set the rules.

For those who do not have the reupload option "Non-Residents", I understand it is pointless to just comment reup as the OP or Pirat 99% will not see it. At least the reupload button sends a notification/email to OP and Pirat.

That's an interesting approach that I hadn't considered. Where are you looking to see the posts? That might be easier than what I've been doing.

I bookmark in my browser every post that I've requested a reup, and I save them in bookmark folders that are named with the date I made the request. About 48 hours after I've pressed a handful (6-10 max) I'll go back to see how many have been reupped and I do a second press for those that weren't. I try not to do more than 6 second-requests at a time to avoid overwhelming PiRAT. I throw the bookmarks for the reupped packs into a reupped folder and away from those that I'm still standing by for a reup.

To clarify..

Posting "dead links" and/or "RE-UP" requests in comments is against Audioz rules.

As a Member, if you find all links are dead, please use PM to contact the author of the post and ask for new links.

As a Resident, if you find all links are dead, please use the "request reupload" button.

As a last resort, when all else fails you can contact PiRAT directly, but only contact him when all other options failed.

Under normal loads it should be a fairly quick turnaround time, or perhaps maybe 24-48 hours when its busy, but sometimes it can take longer. Please be understanding and patient.

😊
