Description : Touch The Universe is proud to present “Cloud Fields ” for the Native Instruments Kontakt 7 sampler using the "Photosynthesis" Engine from Exotic States. The library contains 115 tediously crafted presets from over 200 individual sources and is suitable for any contemporary electronic and ambient music genres. Nearly Each patch contains three levels of samples, which is why there are more sound sources than patches. Furthermore, each sound source utilizes a patch created by Touch The Universe, so the entire library utilizes completely original sources.

This is my first library for Kontakt 7 from Native Instruments, a company I've been a fan of for a long time. The library covers a vast sonic territory of ambient patches, including gorgeous soundscapes, ethereal choir pads, and pristine atmospheres, full of exotic character, to give your songs a tranquil, contemplative side. It also contains a few ambient keys thrown in the mix as well.

I really enjoyed working with Kontakt 7. It is a much different beast than Steinberg's Halion. I especially loved Kontakts effects, which are truly state of the art and capable of wildly transforming the original sounds.

Requires Full Version of Kontakt 7 (won't play in Konakt Player)

All patches are volume normalized. (They won't clip and have equal volume levels when scanning between presets)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
To Install the presets, simply extract the archive named “Cloud Fields for Kontakt 7” to a location of your choice on your hard drive, preferably where you other Kontakt Libraries are kept. From there, locate the folder from within Kontakt Explorer and open the instruments folder and start selecting presets. That's it.

This library is based on the good old Photosynthesis engine, has no nicnt or wallpaper, no snapshots, but STILL they had to make it for Kontakt 7 only......

As far as I know, there is no way to make K7 presets work in earlier versions. I've also tried to find a solution, but not succeeded.

thats because its NI and garbage companies like them dont know how updates are supposed to work. My nexus 1 presets work fine in nexus 3..... a company like refx knows how to do updates

Messy organised library with a pretty old and free script (they have not even had the skills to add somthing personal to the gui.
Worst: sounds really bad!
Tested and deleted.

I'm surprised they even attempted to make a Kontakt library since they have made only presets for years and years. Why they had to use Kontakt 7 however to make it, which isn't backwards compatible with 6 or anything else is beyond me? Maybe to market it as being the "newest" libraries, but if it adds no complexity and Photosynthesis engine has been out for a while, it's not worth it. Audio Imperia made good use of Photosynthesis.

Which library, sounds sweet. I think Halion is a higher league than kontakt as one can mix live synthesis and what not.

Preciously how does it sound bad? What is a good library in similar vein - atmospheric textures - which is a bit different than ambient solid tone pads and soundscapes.
