Sample Rate : Reduced from 24Bit to 16Bit

For those who already have downloaded the previous Lite Version of Choir Omnia please note that there were few missing samples in the BASSES. Hence I have made a provision for you guys to download just the Basses Sample & Basses Instrument which is around 1.47GB and you can just replace those files in their respective folders instead of downloading completely.
i.e. Omnia Basses.nki - Replace in "Instruments" Folder
And, Both NI_CO_Basses.nkx & NI_CO_Basses.nkc - Replace in "Samples" Folder.

NOTE: Kontakt v7.1.3 or higher is required to run this library.

I've been waiting for the lite version of this but sadly I'm still on Koktakt 6 and hoping for a portable version of 7 before I try it.

K7 is also reported to be a bit buggy, especially in Studio One. I'm happy to wait a few versions. No biggie.

If you look around a few other sites, there is a portable K7, no idea how good it is, but it works. I have it just for the K7 libraries, I am running K6 mainly but if I want to use a K7 library, I open it and only the K7's are there.

I use the portable version, just upgraded my portable too. I havent had any problems with my 300+ libraries. It's also just like the 6.0 portable verison. i mean the folder structure and all, so i could copy all the user settings and everything right over into the new portable.

Kontakt 7 requires a newer workstation than the one on which I've got all my projects installed. Some of us aren't gonna buy new hardware just for Kontakt, when everything else is running just fine.

Yes, it's a new rule. I regret it, because Kontakt portable versions are very useful for testing, and even essential for those who make lite versions of libs.

But rules are rules, so we have to use other ways for these.

I'm assuming you meant to say 'LiTE' and not 'Portable'?
The LiTE version is pretty much self-explanatory if you just read the description of the release.
By reducing the bit size from 24 to 16 you already lose +-50% of the size, then remove some less used mic positions and you can drastically reduce the size of the library...and your HDD and DAW will thank you!

'Portable' applies to apps, meaning the portable version will not install any files in the OS, it just runs directly from the folder where you 'installed' it (there is in fact no installation).
So you can just move the folder to a USB stick, go to a friend's house and start up the app right from the USB stick or even copy it to the other PC and it will run fine!
I always try to find a portable version first, if none exist, then I'll install the 'normal' app version.
