It would be great if there was a 24-bit, 44.1kHz FLAC version.
The size would likely be ~1/3 or less, and the difference in quality would be negligible.

Thanks Talula, but I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with what I've heard so far. For example almost all of the jet bys are overly compressed and/or "designed" in the same way - no lead in, then a big processed whoosh on the by.

Most of the ambiences are well recorded, but many are useless like "Dog barking in rain", or "Helicopter flies over a babbling brook". If you're cutting sound for film/tv/games, you can't have such disparate elements in the same track. Come on! Also almost all of the tracks with crowds and walla are obviously German speaking. There's a smattering from other countries but not much.

It's too chopped up. Why would you take a recording of a single computer mouse and break it up into 44 separate audio files??? Because you want to pad the number of fx included in this library. It's like the older Sound Ideas libraries.

Levels are all over the place.

I get the impression this library was either produced by junior members of the BOOM team, or much of it was outsourced. There's some good stuff in here but it's nowhere near the stellar quality of other BOOM offerings, and certainly not worth the $$$ they're asking for it.
