Sonuscore Ethnic String Phrases Esraj & Erhu for HALion

I can sense it now - and don't take it wrongly, as I always enjoy teamwork in making things work as we like - "It is not working in Sonic or HALion 6." That's because e-licenser that they rely on doesn't have the license for it yet. Sonic SE relies on new Silk system, instead. Just some info for anyone that might be trying like crazy to "fix their install" of it. I would imagine tons of people do that because of lacking information. Rock on and enjoy. I am gonna be testing this later on, myself!

Ive Tried it in Halion, Halion Sonic & Halion Sonic SE.
It doesnt even show up in Halion or Halion Sonic.
It shows up in Halion Sonic SE, the 3 instrument Presets open and load but it has No Sound for any of them.
So we are assuming it is a Licence Issue, in that We Dont Have The Licence To Use This Library.
So we need V.R or R2R or Someone to provide a library file for this. The other reason would we that the sample file is corrupt & thats why theres no sound.
I dont know the reason for the lack of sound on Halion Sonic SE, but I think the library not showing up in Halion or Halion Sonic, is a licence issue.

Works perfectly with Halion Sonic 3 (NOT SE) and full Halion 6.4.30+. VR b25 + R2R Silk 1.1.1 installed.

There is 3 presets only, the most useful / interesting / complete is the second one.

On Sonic, click on "Edit" to show the lib interface. On full Halion, click on "Macro".

On the kboard, pink/salmon colored keys from C1 to C2 are for transposition. Starting C5, the keys of the same color are for choosing a different set of phrases (different moods / instruments variants), corresponding to the list at the Edit / Macro page.

It needs midi CC11, expression, from value 100-127 otherwise no sound.

Ive got VR b25 and Silk 1.1.1 on my computer too and it doesnt work for me.

Whose cracked version of Halion are you using? V.R. ?

What we need most is a VR b26 with the new licenses authorised.

I install b25 from VR and Silk 1.1.1 from R2R...try on all V.R and R2R programs (Halion 6, Halion Sonic 3, Halison Sonic 3 SE)...and not work, Halion Sonic 3 SE just show 3 patches but no sound

EDIT 2: Ok guys, I make MIDI file with saved command CC11, just load it in Halion Sonic 3 SE and it will work...for me work ;)

Excellent trying to figure this thing out, above. I tried it and even automated CC#11 to 127 and ran the transport forward, err yes, I mean I just pressed play - and none of it got the mojo started.

I will tell you what actually does get the mojo started without fail, and on the same token, it is actually necessary as we have seen. Maybe it's a bug or maybe it is a feature. I can't say. I am only into it some moments.

There's a button to the top right, directly under the "b" in the Steinberg logo, that looks like a zigzag lightning bolt: "MIDI Reset." It does the trick every time.

Now on to a proper review of it after testing it for some notes: It sounds great. I can think of when it would be cool to use it in any genre of music or film, and some sick stuff could be made with it. Think of things like "Home" instrumental parts by Dream Theater, or anything with that Arabic sort of diminished flavor to it. Or Mediteranean. Or think of any movie you're ever seen with desert sand blowing in it - think of the soundtrack. Uh huh. It is the kind of sounds where you can go whacky with the mouse on the on-screen keyboard to find a whole song idea right then and there. Or of course, you know, play some actual things yourself. All in all, I dig it so far and I think most will too.

We have the Solution Now - V.R. Absolute 5 b26 has landed.
With all the New Licences
Tested & ALL Libraries that were not working, NOW WORK in Halion & Halion Sonic (no need for SE now).
No need for the CC11 midi file/hack as with the V.R b26 this Ethnic String Phrases now WORKS STRAIGHT AWAY, Without the CC11 MIDI

I just noticed there are 2 libraries that work well but although they are completely different -
Different Size, Different Name, Different Instrument, just different The Steinberg Licence Manager seems to think they are the same, as although they both work if you install one the other either disappears or says that it's already installed, so you cant install/authorize it.
The 2 Libraries are -
Sonuscore Ethnic String Phrases Esraj & Erhu
& Sonuscore Medieval Phrases Lute & Theorbo
both work fully and well, but installing 1 will uninstall the other and visa versa.
The files for each are not named the same, but I assume the license has the same name for some reason.
The files are -
Ethnic_String_Phrases_Esraj_&_Erhu_Presets
Ethnic_String_Phrases_Esraj_&_Erhu_Samples
and
Medieval_Phrases_Lute_&_Theorbo_Presets
Medieval_Phrases_Lute_&_Theorbo_Samples
and yet Steinberg Licence Manager seems to think they are the same files.
I have played both and both are totally different (except they are made by the same company Sonuscore.
Has anybody managed to get

working at the same time?
