We sampled raw vinyl and drum machines into the MPC, clipping, filtering and effecting the sounds, and processing the results with an Overstayer Modular channel.

GAH!! Samples From Mars had a competition on their site: create a composition using the drums from this pack...and, as I just found out about it, I missed it.

First prize was/is "The winner gets an MPC2000XL, free samples for life, and their composition posted on our website and Soundcloud." Less than 200 people entered, so that MPC could have been mine.

Appreciate the heads-up on this, deuces.

I think you misread that bruh. The deadline is the 22nd. They are just showing what they have to date.(which is 178) So you still have plenty of time.

Nine days then to create, mix & master...rough, but I did that in four days for the Marco Polo competition a while back and, though I didn't win, I got a nod for the track, so I can do this.
