The SoundBrewer Ambience collection began with the construction of many different sounds utilizing FM, vector, subtractive, and granular synthesis. Sounds were also created with experimental recordings from both traditional and non-traditional sources. The resulting sounds range from sweet, mystical, peaceful and mesmerizing to non traditional sound FX's, and dissonant noises.
Ambience is a collection of multi-layered, multi-textured instruments. It contains a collection of Pads, Textures, and Atmospheres like you have never heard before. These are versatile sounds that would be at home in electronic music, a New Age soundscape, or even as an atmospheric backing to an orchestral film score.
The sounds are divided into nine categories. They are:
Bells - ringing pads and ambiences.
Enveloping Atmospheres - layered ambiences and atmospheres.
Evolving Darkness - darker sounds and atmospheres.
Pluck and Hammer - guitars, piano, and ethnic ambience.
Noises and Effects - distorted, manipulated, and twisted soundscapes.
Pads - textures and droning sounds.
Synths - airy synthesized sounds.
Strings - synth layered and manipulated strings.
Voices - vocal washes, synthesized voices, and manipulated choirs.
The SoundBrewer Ambience disc contains over 120 different sounds. It should be noted that some sounds are hard to place in a category, we recommend that you experiment with the different sound categories.
Far from being just a synth sample CD. SoundBrewer Ambience contains a broad mix of sounds that are great for adding unique sounding and subtle (or not so subtle) nuances to your music productions. Ambience provides you with a palette of samples unlike anything you will hear anywhere else.
This is not a collection of .wav files. This is a collection of multisampled sounds that are key mapped to be playable. With these sounds you are able to create original melodies, songs and scores. These are not pre made loops, they are the raw materials for the creation of original compositions.
