Recently came across this channel strip that emulates the Mackie 8-Bus series. Unfortunately there isn't a demo to try it out. Infamous for it's pre-amp distortion that essentially started gabber, it's been used by many for mixdowns including: Masters at Work, Mood II Swing, The Prodigy, BT, Photek, and Mr. G to name a few.
