REQ: Rubicon Techno Diaspora

A journey into the seams between acoustic and electronic, Techno Diaspora finds Gladstone Deluxe expanding his craft as a sound designer and multi-instrumentalist, bridging euroack, serge modular, and drum machines with the groove of live percussion.

“The goal was to paint a picture of a techno-diasporic modernity,” says Gladstone Deluxe, whose work harkens back to techno’s origins as much as it points to contemporary classical orbits, "shaped by study and training in both worlds".

Live kits are treated with custom spectral processing, while synthesized percussion takes on a humanistic feel. Melodics etched with a drummer’s sensibility round out the pack across the frequency spectrum, to be enjoyed for use across all genres.
