REQ: Yuroun Sound Design Alchemy Legacy Bundle

Over the years, several people have asked me if the old Alchemy files were still available. They are, but I don’t support them. You can download all my Alchemy files as they are. It’s 1.5g data.

Alchemy Legacy Bundle contains: Abstractum, Abused Piano, Elevations, Escape Velocity Bundle, Green Fire, Mutations, Odeon, Pure I, II, III, Sapphire, Sonic Impact, Stones of Albion.

Below is a description of the libraries I found online. There are many more in the package. So this is not a description of all the libraries included in the package.


Abstractum is set of 57 atmospheres, textures, drones and sound effects. Ranging from mysterious galactic atmopsheres to relaxing and delicate soundscapes.


Abstractum II is the successor of Abstractum I and contains a set playable atmospheres, textures and drones. Ranging from alchemistic, cosmic atmosphere’s to ethereal and bone-chilling soundscapes.

Abstractum II features over 359 MB of sample material hand-picked from Yuroun’s personal library and created with a custom Reaktor ensemble.

Each of the presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 440 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix.

All based on a recording session May 2012 where a friend abused his old piano. Samples where tortured with several sound design tools, to create beautiful rich pads, musical soundscapes, freaky effects and ambient loops.

Alchemy Elevations is a soundbank full of inspiring sounds for composers and producers of film, TV and game music. This small collection includes impacts, stingers, beds, drones, soundscapes, percussive/atmospheric loops and more… A great addition to your composing arsenal.

Each of the 50 presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 400 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix.


Escape Velocity Too is the collection of 70 beautiful, ethereal pads and soundscapes. Perfect for film scoring, ambient and/or electronica productions.

This second installment is a bit darker and much bigger then it’s predecessor.


Odeon is a 75-preset (with 600 variations) library for Alchemy. It offers a world of new sounds which are perfect for everything from film scores to ambient and new age. The library comes with over 134MB of tailor-made samples.


YSD says “We call it Pure because there were no samples involved. The sounds where made with Alchemy’s Virtual Analog engine. The sounds are Pure Alchemy. The pad sounds are warm, lush, deep, dreamy and dronish. Each of the 30 presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 240 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix. This sound library is a perfect companion to your Cinematic, Ambient or New Age arsenal.”

There are two versions of this sound set. The normal version contains only the sounds, the Plus version has a mini Ambient MIDI kit inside. Those MIDI files are taken from the sound demos, so you can recreate the demos or make you own ambient track with it.

This sound library contains totally new material, making it the perfect companion to for your next track.


Pure Pads is a small Alchemy soundset with 30 pad sounds. All the sounds where made with the Alchemy’s Virtual Analog engine, so the sounds are Pure Alchemy. The pad sounds are Warm, lush, deep, dreamy, drone’ish. Listen to the demo’s.

Each of the 30 presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 240 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix. As a bonus we’ve included the midi files and FL Studio 11 project files used by the demo sounds.


Sapphire Dream Pads is inspired by minerals. As a mineral can be warm or cold, dark and light, so are the Sapphire Dream Pads for Alchemy. These atmospheric pads will be sure do great while scoring Discovery Channel type documentaries.

Each of the 80 presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 640 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix. The library comes with 154MB of new sample material.


Sonic Impact is a small soundbank for Camel Audio’s Alchemy with only impact sounds and effects. Varying from atomic blasts and explosions to junk crashes. All the sample material for these presets is recorded and edited by sounddesigner Yuroun (Jeroen van Rooij) and delivered in 96 kHz, 24-bit mono.

A Developer edition of Sonic Impact is also available for the creative and innovative designer.

This construction kit contains the same 50 presets as the normal edition, but with 155 more sample material to create completely unique impacts and hit sounds.


Stones of Albion comprises a whole universe of unique and fascinating sounds, ranging from digital and analog pads and synths, to evocative soundscapes and effect textures. Each of the 90 presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 720 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix.

Stones of Albion includes 100 MB of specially created new sample content. This sound library contains totally new material, making it the perfect companion to your Cinematic, Ambient arsenal.
