I'm beginning to think that cherry audio is killing itself more and more. Nobody needs the stuff they've been producing lately. Maybe a Korg M1 or a Yamaha DX7 will be in the program soon. What would also be mega cool is a TR-505 or a linndrum clone. I now know why r2r doesn't even bother with Cherry Audio plugins anymore...

The issue with Cherry Audio is that their protection system detects previously installed cracked software. If you want to purchase one of their products, the activation won’t work.

If you’ve installed even one cracked product, you can’t buy or activate it—or anything else from them.

That’s the unfortunate situation I found myself in. I was forced to request a refund, even though I was ready to purchase all of their products, including the ones I had previously installed as cracked versions.

I had no choice. Nothing could make their activation work, even cleaning my system totally from every Cherry Audio R2R releases.

That's not quite right. Only if you have installed the “Sync” program [https://cherryaudio.com/products/sync] will the cracked plugins no longer run. Without the Sync program, I have been using both versions for years. Unfortunately, you then have to update each plugin (except the cracked ones) manually from time to time.
