REQ: AugustRose Audio Drums of Destruction Sample Pack

This pack is nearly 6GB's of high-quality studio-grade drum samples. Features 1 kick, 3 snares, and 4 toms. The kick and toms are all constructed of all birch shells, in sizes 18x22 (kick), and 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, and 16x16 (toms). The all birch shells deliver tight, punchy tones. For the toms, this also means a rich sustain.

The primary way of using these samples is through Steven Slate Drums Trigger 2 plugin. This is where the ".tci" files within the pack come in. Within Trigger 2, you can load ".tci" files and use them to replace, or blend in with, your existing drum sounds.

There are also individual WAV files for all velocity layers and round-robin samples for each drum. You are welcome to use those however you see fit, but it's not really recommended unless you know how to load them into a sampler that uses velocity layers and a round-robin algorithm.

Lastly, there are one shot samples of the kick and snares. Use these via Trigger 2, or your preferred sampler, to blend in with your existing drums for improved consistency in each hit. Additionally, these samples are super punchy and feature a strong attack, which will ensure your kick and snare cut through a dense mix.

For snare drums, the collection includes three iconic snares sampled in “High Tuning,” “Medium Tuning,” and “Low Tuning,” giving you a range of tones to work with and ensuring you can find the perfect snare sound for any track. Plus, this pack includes two special snare effect samples designed to blend seamlessly with darker snare recordings, adding a touch of top-end to help them cut through the mix.
