Pianos also depend of microphones, bad ones destroy anything; sometime I prefer load these pianos to play and record.

However, the "Austrian Bosendörfer" is superb, just listen to any record of the fantastic canadian Jazz Pianist Oscar Peterson, and try to listen to his chords alone on slow tempo musics, you'll understand what I mean.

But my tip is, "Oscar Peterson" never used it playing octaves on these first amazing 97 keys, but sometimes he used to play the distance of 15ths, it means 'C0 together with C2' (24 notes distance), this to avoid a physic problem that our ears have; octave only works from A0 and A1, lower register than this only elephants like to listen.
