VISTA II – SOLO CELLO LEGATO
The first module in the VISTA II series, exploring sympathetic-resonance legato

Vista II – Solo Cello Legato is the first module from Vista II. The library explores a sympathetic resonance type bow-change legato. The sympathetic resonance approach here takes a new recording style which (a) causes more of the instrument to be resonating when the musician plays the intervals in question and (b) gives the musician a stronger frame of reference in terms of pitch, leading to subjectively more musicality and intonation accuracy. This is combined with an unavoidable post-production process to “clean up” the recordings and make them more presentable, as they are not functionally usable by default as with a more traditional session.
