We are excited to announce the release of Sensory Percussion 2.1. This update includes a number of new features and fixes. We recommend that all users update to this version. Sensory Percussion 2 is not just another update––it's a conceptual overhaul. We went back to the drawing board, completely redesigning the logic of how sounds are built and applied to the drums. This new framework removes restrictions that music software typically places on the user, allowing for unprecedented freedom of expression.

Sunhouse doesn't allow users to upgrade their v1 software to v2 even if they said last January that they'll be announcing at start of this year. They stopped responding on the thread on their forum and people kept wondering. I think this is bad especially when you invest 1k in their product. They state that the only way to use V1 hardware with V2 software is to buy the whole 2k v2 bundle. I think this is unacceptable for hardware which is this expensive...
Hope that this will be considered to release to help all Sensory Percussion Owners.

interesting. Is the software usable without the hardware? if not, nobody will have interest in blessing it.



okay i side normally with the users, but it could be they realized they wouldnt make to much money from $$$ if they wouldnt force their customers to buy the new hardwre bundle ... it happens sometimes to secure the survival of the company.

They promised to put new software to be purchased standalone but never kept their own promise. Most people buy v1 sensors used and often they come up without software included, so having v1 software on audioz could save 200 bucks to them. I am open to share software and soundpacks to make it public. I don't think it's much useful without SP (actually tried with a trigger). Tried v1 software and it demonstrates his age. New one has a way better ui and more practical flexibility (also rewritten Ableton plugins).
Even more v1 won't receive new sound packs because they are focused on v2 software. I think people should be free to use v2 soundpacks too...
So hopefully sharing V1 and packs could encourage people to share V2 and packs. This because both versions have sensor's hardware that is cross compatible.
