we are days away from Reason 13 being announced anyway sadly i don't think this will happen , as a legit user i would like to see reason get ked since their new policies are a big f*** you to their legit users we will see what happens in the future

well as a macos user you can always use windows on your mac. the other way around is much harder.

i am still wondering who approves such requests, how long wasnt reason blessed on macos? was there ever a version blessed?

to my knowledge reason 5 was avaliable for mac i still understand these requests all the doubt inducing measures they have taken for piracy aside reason is still a very capable D.A.W i still use 12.7 daily

i am not saying Reason is a bad DAW or something, its just very unlikely that someone from the mac-side goes through the same work R2R went through for the windows side, if it was so easy there would have been a macos release for reason, but reading R2Rs NFOs about reasons protection, i really doubt it.
Its easy to just install windows and use the R2R release on it, if you really want it that badly or just buy it?

thats the last macOS release for reason i can find "Propellerheads.Reason.v3.0.5.MAC.OSX-NGEN" (~2003) remember reason 3-5 had super easy protection, was a matter to get your hands on the discs at that time.
reason6 onwards had WIBU protection, till they launched their own protection for reason 12, which is still hard enough ...

EDIT: okay you are right, looks like ARCADE release reason5 "Propellerheads.Reason.v5.0.1.UPDATE.MAC.OSX.UB-ArCADE" around 2010 and then they switched to WIBU ofc.

BTW i'm a windows user really thinking if i should upgrade to version 13 , not before i upgrade my ancient pc tho they must bring some a.i technology that creates coherent melodies becouse their player rack extensions are nothing but garbage

I am also from windows, but yeah I really hoped they released the last version, it fixed some bugs that would make the workflow better. I am very afraid about how it will be with R13 because if they make impossible to open projects from R12 unless you are a legit user then I would be f**ked with all the projects I have made in R12 of R2R. I really hope they make the cracked version of 13 to open cracked 12 projects 🙏
