REQ: Acustica Audio Ocean screenshot
INFO:
Ocean is the new multi-band processing tool, presented as a single Acqua plugin available in VST, VST3, AAX, and AU formats in Core 19 based on our 'Hyper' technology encompassing a remarkable assortment of Acustica's most acclaimed emulations based on top-tier hardware units.

Multiband processing is a set of techniques renowned for its power and effectiveness, but it can be a challenging task to configure and manage successfully. There are numerous potential pitfalls to watch out for when using these techniques, making them all the more crucial to approach it with caution and attentiveness. However, our Ocean plugin is designed to address these complexities by providing an intuitive and powerful solution.

Ocean presents itself as a unique plugin with a visually captivating 'hybrid' interface that seamlessly blends the best features of 2D and 3D, delivering a truly immersive user experience. It comes in a “Standard” version and an alternative “ZL*” version, which operates at *zero latency and is thus suitable for use when tracking, at the cost of extra processing resources.

Darn, wondering if we have seen the last of the aquas. Looking like this could even be a two-year set. They must be hard to actually setup to work, probably tedious and monotonous messing with hundreds of these files. Waiting with anticipation for the next reveal from the witches. I wonder what will be next.

I agree. There seems to be something that’s slowing the process down. At one point they were releasing 5 a day. Now it’s down to a dribble. It must be hard to keep up with all the new releases from other devs, but I hope they get back to the AA stuff soon. I’d love to see Ocean come out, plus Cherry, Cream, Lime 2, and Straw. But it might be a long wait…

Can someone please explain to me why Acustica Audio has a dozen plugins, it seems like they have 50 plugins for everything.

I can't help but to suspect that maybe AA has come up with a defense. Could they imbed a hard to find file that makes each download of a Aqua demo traceable to the demo downloader, then they come here, download a ripped library, find what user downloaded that demo and cancel that account making R2R have to get a new account with AA every time they download demos Just seems like AA would be trying to counter R3R and hide ways to identify what AA downloader got the demo that was used by R2R.

Or, this could be nothing more that R2R maybe doing a massive set like Silver with several reverb libraries. That would be a huge download that would take the Witches a long time to assemble. So it could be that simple. Silver is the only one I can think of that has multiple libraries that would take R2R a long time to put together. Agree, I would love Purple, Cream 2, Navy, and several others.

Been thinking about the "Silver" reverb collection being why R2R is not putting Aquas up recently. That plug and several libraries of reverbs would be simply huge and if R2R is working one them that would explain the long wait. BUT, though I hope Silver is the reason it is taking a long time, there is one reason to think that is NOT the case and there is some other problem. Up until now, R2R was releasing first windown Aquas, then they would turn around and release the same Mac versions catching them both up. They have not posted the mac versions of the latest Aquas they posted tof the win versions, which concerns me. If they were working on Silver and know it will tale a long time, wouldn\t they have first went ahead and made the Mac versions of the win plugs BEFORE they started on Silver? It seems to me they would have first caught all the posts up between Win and Mac first before they started on Silver. This has me worried that something else is going on, like AA has found a way to thwart them or they have decided to stop posting them. So I can’t see them starting on a massive Silver set BEFORE they went ahead and caught the Mac users up to the Win users first. So yeah, kind of worrisome.
