Older versions are not always redundant - for example OP´s request Cubase 8 still has 32bit support for plugins, newer versions don´t. But some people might need it for opening older projects. Also older versions of any other plugin or instrument can be making sense for those kind of reasons. So in general I´d vote for requests like this to be ok. Been in the situation myself of needing some old stuff for opening old projects.

i just said it because, from your questions, you already assumed that it would have been my mistake.. as if others couldn't make mistakes when making their decisions.

by the way, why do i have to explain why "my" old version is relevant while others can post theirs without giving any explanation?

some group managed to crack Cubase 10 & 11 pro using VR's soft e-licenser. But it's unstable as heck.

those were never cracked, but it's never too late..
maybe for WiN, but not for MAC.

for MAC i remember the first Cubase SX. my first DAW..
the only that was properly cracked then for MAC.
