Gosh that discoDSP guy is weird. Nightshine Compressor and EQ were freeware for like forever but now you can only get them if you buy FX pack with Thrillme for 50E. Weirdo. He's always trying to somehow milk some more money for these same products from 20y ago.

I remember when he took over the OBXD project from 2DAT and tried to profit on it, but when enough people at KVR protested he begrudgingly let it stay free. Then also letting Highlife sampler be open-source and changing his mind a year later, so now v1.3 is still free but you have to pay 50E for v1.4. It is also nothing special and not worth the money.

This is not worth cracking, really. I remember trying this like 15y ago. Yes, it's about that old and x86. No x64. discoDSP is a really weird company. I suspect he's a really weak programmer since he likes to steal code from open source and other programmers for his projects.

He's probably hoping people have forgotten about all his scandals by now. I didn't.

Good grief, so it's even older. That was just my best optimistic estimation. :)

His best product has always been Discovery and the newer Pro version sounds nice. PAD synth (which he took from Open Source synth ZynAddSubFX) combined with Nord-like sounds is cool and the Pro version filter sounds alright. I do like Vertigo for some experimental sounds I can later on play with in TAL Sampler or Audio Damage Quanta, for example. Everything else... subpar. :(
