For many years, Soundtoys EchoBoy has been my favorite delay. Indeed, it has the spirit of analog hardware. However, after the release of the Ableton Echo effect, I began to use EchoBoy less and less. Ableton Echo is great for everyday tasks.

I reproduce EchoBoy presets by using Echo and most of them sound very close to the original.

Hmm whats the point of this? Probably better to just load some audio/synths and experiment for 1-2h with Ableton Echo plugin, its not a super deep device. No need for any 3rd party presets.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

No, I never used Echo because often you're more dragged toward 3rd party plugins, which is a shame because sometimes Ableton ones (especially the newer ones like this one) are overlooked so I'm glad someone is actually showing me presets on how to sound like Echoboy which can go so deep sometimes too that it's good to limit it to its basic use like here.

"Probably better to just load some audio/synths and experiment for 1-2h with Ableton Echo plugin" well that's the point to save time. Not everyone is versed into spending hours of experimenting forever with so many plugins out there. These presets are a good starting point (to be tweaked to taste of course).

"No need for any 3rd party presets." Okay then the same could be said about Echoboy, or any VST for that matter. Let's get rid of all presets in all plugins! lol

"Its not a super deep device" every plugin even the simplest ones are always deeper than they look.
