REQ: Luftrum Hyperion by Milisonics for Vital
Rays of light dance along the earth, tracing a path through forests, across streams, down valleys and over mountains- to reveal ancient knowledge for those who have learned to listen.
Enter Hyperion, the debut soundset for Vital created by sound designer Milisonics, and curated by Luftrum. A proudly vibrant set; it beams cosmic light from distant corners of the galaxy, unfolding its multilayered structure like an alien flower to reveal its many treasures within.
As a rich and diverse set, it provides a valuable resource for Vital with a plethora of 100 Psybient-inspired presets: lush and exotic pads, punchy basses, fluorescent leads, and luminous keys will have you spellbound. Energetic and playable sequences will augment your tracks with depth, while carefully crafted transition effects add layers of nuance.
All four macros have been meticulously programmed, allowing for instant complexity and a broad range of creative tonal shaping. Modwheel, velocity and aftertouch are included for every patch for further expressiveness.
Inspired by artists and composers such as Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kim Jensen (Project I.G.I.), Michael McCann (Deus Ex: Human Revolution), Marin Lindhe (Bassic) and Solar Fields – this set seeks to tap into a mix of those flavors – energetic, uplifting, tense and serene. As such, the Vital preset bank was programmed to cover a broad range of sound types, with the intent to craft a useful set that leans towards the otherworldly but whose sounds are built around a classic architecture.
