You can't really remove vocal or anything from a song. The so called "vocal remover" apps try desperately to cut the frequencies in the center of stereo image in which MONO vocal tracks exist. But as a side effect you lose everything that has the same freq range with the vocal parts, upper freq of Bass, kick drum etc. And the vocals enhanced in Stereo image still remain the same. So If you want a song without the vocal, you should either find a multitrack version of it and throw away the vocal tracks, or rewrite the song somehow, as dastepoff suggests.

there's no real solution to remove some vocal from a mixed track. It's too complex to be done properly even by the better software in the market.

Some software use the phase inversion technic to subtract the mono recorded vocal track from the stereo mix. The problem is that if some stereo effect like a pan delay, a chorus or a reverb as been applied to the vocal track. Then you'll hear some artifacts.

The only way to have an absolutely clean and original track without vocal or a accapella vocal track is to find the original record project.

Or try to recreate at your best the original music.

If you have a studio quality acapella of the song you can use the invert method to cancel out the vocals.

Using a multitrack DAW line the acapella up with the original song so the vocals match perfectly, Then invert the acapella's waveform. It takes practice but it should cancel out if they are the same quality.

Same can be done using a instrumental inverted to extract an acapella from a song.

Have fun and good luck winked

karaoke music is often a midi version of the song.
You can download these free and add your own and usually better instruments.

the trick with the acapella and the song only works in theory. if you try it, it wont work, because the mastered version of the track has compression on top because of the mastering. thatswhy the vocals have different dynamics than the acapellas wich are not mastered. so chances are that you can make the vocals quieter but you cant cancel them out. the same is the case the other way around, if you try to extract the vocals with an instrumental. it wont cancel either way because of different treatment of the stereobus.

Your best bet is to go with "Phase Inversion" and "Gating" . Phase Inversion to select the frequencies you need and Gating to help clean up some of the overspill.. But you'll never be able to get a clean accapella or instrumental.
