The hate & double standard for Mac people is unbelievable. We get shamed on the sister site for even asking the possibility of R2R cracks getting reversed for Mac.... Hoping this & all the other R2R releases get cracked for Mac.

Absolutely. If not by R2R since they abandoned Mac then some one else or some other team.
Frankly, it's a pretty grim, desolate landscape these days for Mac users apart for Codeshine.
No more Hexwars, R2R abandons Mac, all that crap that went on with Cashmere and she disappears. I'm happy for the Windows folks far as this truly unbelievable bounty that has dropped on and continues to drop for them, but it also makes a nearly drought sort of landscape for Mac users exponentially more bitter. Ech, anyways...

Not really punished, it's not our fault, or even R²R's but, with each new OS, Apple implement a new security feature trying to stop people from doing what they want with their OS or even hardware, and trying to prevent cracked and reverse engineers from beating it's security, this is more of an issue when it comes to ilok, as ilok protection is quite different from that on the windows side, and for a team to try and do it on both platform is quite hard and time consuming, let's wish for Hexwars to comeback, get in touch with R²R, and try to port their work (with their approval i hope) to the mac side.

As for HEXWARS DON'T COUNT ON IT!! I can assure you he won't come back.... I know that and I can't say anything else! Moreover, the TEAM was made up of only one person helped by R2R and therefore he did too much for us! It's true that Apple is a big obstacle for us Mac users but it's also true that we have several weapons to overcome the limitations dictated by their security protocols: (dequarantine, codesigne, disable SIP and more). Half true that iLok is different for Mac (the principle is the same, the protections as well and the base files to be cracked are both binary). In my humble opinion up to Catalina and in part Big Sur, you could do everything (as I said there's no desire and suitable people) always remaining within the domain of the basic intel software., .. of course! My extreme concern is for the near future! With the advent of the ARM M1 processors, everything changes (as happened with Apple's transition from Power PC to Intel) and from what I know, programmers will have to retrace their steps as when UB (universal binary) versions of various software were released but with substantial differences! I believe that for a long time we will no longer have cracked software to use .... FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MAKE THE GENERATION JUMP, WILL DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! I certainly won't (I'm staying in Mojave, maybe I'll update in Catalina) and I think I'll stay that way until things are clearer at all! For those who play everything is relative but those who like me work there and do not have thousands of dollars to invest the situation is very heavy!!
Lately a lot of material protected with iLok for windows has been released (never seen anything like this in many years) and therefore it means that a weakness has been discovered in the protection system that was not known before otherwise this massive release of cracked software cannot be explained! My hope is that this weakness could also be exploited for Mac!
With this I am done and I urge the cracker teams to continue releasing basic intel cracked software for Mac as I believe many people are still at the same stage as me (Mojave, Catalina). For those who have already switched to ARM M1, the future is already dead before it arrives!

As a modest self-taught in reverse engineering, I can tell you that nothing is impossible !!
It almost seems that these protections adopted by Apple are more inviolable than an iLok or Elicenser protection but I guarantee you that it's not (see TNT team) ! Unfortunately it's just lack of willpower to do things ... I also remember that R2R, when they wrote the post announcing the end of their Mac support, they added a comment almost taunting Mac users saying they would have a lot more time to crack the windows software if they kicked Mac users in the butt !! So don't tell me that nobody hates the Mac platform because it doesn't seem like that to me!

Either way, we can't force anyone to help us, R2R probably had to decide between Windows and Mac so they can move forward, generally Apple is used by professionals and legit users whose main concern is the security.

Obviously we cannot force anyone to do what they don't want ... I repeat for the umpteenth time that having a Mac doesn't also mean being a millionaire !! I guarantee you that there are many professionals who use mac and don't have all original software, also because it would take thousands of dollars that not all of us professionals have! R2R HAS THE RESOURCES..I GUARANTEE IT! Just think that HEXWARS was a one-person team and look at how many things he managed to do for us! There has always been little desire to do for Mac users already from unsuspecting times ... I believe that R2R has simply "took the ball at the jump" to get the mac platform "out of the box "!! And if we want to talk about security, macOS is a very safe system even without all the new protocols unlike Windows which leaks everywhere! However I have worked with both systems and I can assure you that with the right attention it is very difficult to catch computer viruses on both platforms !!
The only time I caught a virus was in 2008 (on windows), surfing on an absolutely legal and unsuspected site. Through cracked software never had problems neither on Windows nor on Mac! So let's go back to the starting point: no one wants to seriously consider the development of cracked software for mac .... this is reality! I believe there is nothing more to add! We will see how events unfold in the near future!

I was waiting for this moment! I was wondering how long it would be before I found someone to post a comment like yours: totally useless !!

Point 1) Mine is just pure and simple frustration with the situation ... a simple vent and that is how it must remain.

Point 2) I have always thanked for everything I have had over the years from the various cracker teams and I never complained ... unlike many others!

Point 3) How many original software did you buy? I have bought many and therefore I have always done my part to support those who work and live with the software! I also work in the music industry and I know what it's like to work hard to get results!

Point 4) The purpose of my comments was just to elicit a reaction about who could do something and for reasons I can't know they don't! Until proven otherwise we are in a democracy and therefore everyone is free to think and say what they like most always with polite ways and without offending anyone! I seek the comparison not the confrontation!

I close with this thought: In my opinion the resources would be there to make a team that deals only with Mac but we must accept that it will never be like this! I TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL THE TEAMS THAT HAVE SUPPORTED THE MAC PEOPLE OVER THE YEARS WITH FANTASTIC RELEASES!

I've been working with Apple Logic for years and changing my whole system would have been a real disaster! As I said I work in music I don't play like many others and if an updated version of Logic was released for PC, I would certainly have switched to Windows!

As I have already said this is the only sacred truth! I hope that sooner or later someone can take our cause really seriously and help the Mac people!

Final Thoughts: I believe that this total lack of Mac support will eventually damage sites like this one and others like it considering everything around it so it would be of interest to everyone that everything doesn't fall into oblivion! Being someone who works in music (small productions), open the fact of being able to take advantage of software that otherwise would not be accessible due to the high price and I thank everyone for it!! Obviously what I was able to do I did it by buying the best software at the best price!

No need to measure whos ???????? is longer, we both pirates at the end of the day, either u ‘stole’ one plugin or 50. But i see you like to think you are in the good cause most of your plugins are bought, correct? ...You still stole the other ones so I don’t know what mental gymnastics you are playing to make yourself feel morally right but on the end of the day, you didnt pay for that shit, when you know you should have. So why lie to yourself? You’re in music industry? You making money with what you stole? If you need the new stuff so badly for work purposes, no way around it but to save up my guy. And don’t tell me it’s to expensive, u don’t need 30 plugins to get the job done. You need a couple of quality transparent plugins for mastering and you good. For the mix part u got all u need in all the popular daws.

No hard filings just please try to lose some of those exclamation marks, lately you finish every sentence with it. And i get it’s hard to not be jealous when Windows is getting such a nice upgrade and we get to watch the neighbors kid open all the gifts but there’s always a time when turners have tabled and mac users will be to busy to look at windows users foaming up - not that that should matter. With effort this probably could be done seeing the new versions no longer require iLock. Kush audio is one company that I don't mind giving my money to tho! His plugins are pretty stellar.

Hasn't the iLok been removed from the newer versions? We should also add Blyss to the list.

Can we bump this? I've been using my windows rig much more just to access these incredible plugs.
