REQ: Tet Music Scale Fold 1.1
Scale Fold is a Max For Live device that allows you to fold the notes in Ableton Live's MIDI clip editor to a scale of your choosing. This ensures that when programming inside the MIDI editor, you are only using notes of the selected scale. On top of the 39 provided scale presets, you can also create your own custom scales.
SCALE FOLD FEATURES:.
* select from one of 39 preset scales.
* customize scales with the virtual keyboard.
* device automatically places 9 octaves of "ghost notes" before start of clip.
*use the Fold button in the clip editor to only show notes in the scale.
* Tag button can be assigned to a keyboard shortcut or MIDI for quick access.
Developed with Live 9.7.7 and Max 6.1.10, but also works with latest Live 10/Max 8 versions.
V1.1 update:
- any existing guide notes are now automatically deleted before new ones are placed.
- added Octave Start and Number Octaves settings for constraining guide notes to specific range.
- fixed bug in Minor scale.
