The book Jazzmen (1939) claimed New Orleans as the birthplace of jazz and introduced the legend of Buddy Bolden as the ""First Man of Jazz."" Much of the information that the book relied on came from a highly controversial source: Bunk Johnson. He claimed to have played with Bolden and that together they had pioneered jazz. Johnson made many recordings talking about and playing the music of the Bolden era. These recordings have been treated with skepticism because of doubts about Johnson's credibility.

HY-Mono takes inspiration from the structure of Oberheim SEM (Synthesizer Expander Module) analog synthesizer. Just like the hardware, HY-Mono has two VCO’s, each with sawtooth or variable-pulse waveforms, but also a Sub/Noise unit. With sync button, the oscillator of VCO2 will be synced to oscillator of VCO1.
Next, we find a filter unit where you can control the balance of lowpass and highpass and turn on the “Bp” button, filter output switch to bandpass. The modulation depth range from -100 to 100 %, and you can switch from two modulation sources, Env2 or LFO.

Adam Monroe Music has announced the release of Adam Monroe’s Tremolo, a VST/AU effect plugin for Windows and OS X.
Conceived as a companion piece to Adam Monroe’s Mark 73, the plugin features standard amplitude modulation (tremolo) as well as stereo panning, with the ability to control both speed and depth of the individual oscillators.
A mix knob allows the user to control the dry/wet mix, and selectable sample rates double as an extra parameter, increasing or decreasing the speed of modulation, depending on the sample rate used.
