Kristian Kohle from Kohlekeller Studios (Powerwolf, Aborted, Eskimo Callboy) has created a custom package of IRs with Metal guitar in mind. The goal was to produce some mix ready IRs to give any high-gain amp that "in your face" sound of modern metal production.

Using the new Mick Thomson DV-77 speaker from Eminence along with the Swamp Thangā„¢ and the CV-75 to create his IRs, Kristian has put together a "go-to" package of IRs for the Metal Guitarist.

Everyone who produces electronic music knows the infamous Supersaw of the Roland JP8000/8080, and even it`s a relatively old synthesizer this specific waveform or better sayed oscillator mode is still used and wanted. Also for myself, but more in terms of discovering how it works and how to emulate it. During the last year, i worked on a small emulation of it as little side project for fun & learning primary, and well here it is, the current result. It`s not final, and surely in some specific areas not 100% like original but very close based on the comparision to the real one and the specs.

This study seeks to explore the role and significance of aria insertion, the practice that allowed singers to introduce music of their own choice into productions of Italian operas. Each chapter investigates the art of aria insertion during the nineteenth century from varying perspectives, beginning with an overview of the changing fortunes of the practice, followed by explorations of individual prima donnas and their relationship with particular insertion arias: Carolina Ungher's difficulties in finding a "perfect" aria to introduce into Donizetti's Marino Faliero; Guiditta Pasta's performance of an aria from Pacini's Niobe in a variety of operas, and the subsequent fortunes of that particular aria; Maria Malibran's interpolation of Vaccai's final scene from Giulietta e Romeo in place of Bellini's original setting in his I Capuleti e i Montecchi; and Adelina Patti's "mini-concerts" in the lesson scene of Il barbiere di Siviglia.
