very good point. all financial markets will drop hard soon, crypto included and smart people sit in cash right now (Buffet, Stan Druckenmiller etc). we just have to keep in mind that cash can drop too (deglobalization, weak $ due to US problems etc).
So if one can afford to buy BTC now instead of waiting for 15k - it wouldn't be such a bad idea.
