I've never come across this post before, and I was curious to see if anyone had attempted to recreate the samples similar to the saxophone work of Spyro Gyra.

I Dl all of their tracks from rut-r-ak.

In fact, Spyro Gyra was also my first band, following the already established classics of true sound designers like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Glenn Miller.

Spyro Gyra brought a modern sound to the late 20th century. I never imagined we would experience such remarkable music during the post-Cold War era; it felt like a renaissance emerging after the Middle Ages.
