I have to be the ONLY person this isnt working for....sigh. I dont get it. I installed, entered serial, it excepted with check mark, ran the reg.dmg, and nothing. Both Live and S1 say Serial not found and wont even load the plugin. Anyone else having this issue? on Yosemite....I wasnt online while installing either.

For me it works ONLY on my administrator account! It has a restricted installation: DUNE 2 stores invisible files in the user (var) folder (user > root) that explains why it isn't working on another account.

A cracked version would be much better - skipping the Serial checks!

Feel free to crack it. I have a XCode keygen/partial bruteforcer for Dune2 sitting on my desktop since months, working several hours every week on it, and still not even a third of the coding is done. Only way to have this working is a valid serial, no cracks.
I guess I can leave that project in a corner since now we have this DOA serial!
It will be soon blacklisted of course, but who give a heck, we have this version and it's more than enough, thanks everybody involved. Some targets just need a DOA license to be bought and shared like here, effort to keygen/crack is just too much.

But you can always try if you think a crack is "better"

Thanks for the reply Kook. I obviously have some Admin issue going on since I've updated to Yosemite. Im using my 1 and only user account, which is and says it is Admin in the preferences, yet this doesn't work, and i could not run the terminal command from the latest Waves release. And i cant find any info about what is going on or how to fix it. If any has any ideas i would GREATLY APPRECITATE IT! Ive been googling for days and cannot find any info about this...

Have you tried to set up a new account with administrator rights? I had (still have) some permissions issues on my older admin account, can't even run a simple pkg-Installer on it...very annoying! So I have to switch accounts whenever i want to install something. Unfortunately Synapse Audio is one amongst very few in building strange Installers, although DUNE 1 works still better.

Regarding copylefter/Hexwars: with all the respect I don't think that a software cannot be cracked in any way. There's always weak points in the protections. Sometimes it's much easier than most people think.

I have an IT guy helping me with it. I got this to register by going into my root user, and fixing a permissions issue with my user home folder. But i still have to go into root user to run terminal commands. If u want i can tell u exactly what i did to fix at least that one part of it. Im going to see if he can straighten out the rest tomorrow.

Very nice, big thanks to awake and anyone else who was involved. I've only had a chance to run through some presets and listen to the filter a bit, but I'm liking what I'm hearing. This synth sounds like it would be especially well suited for trance stuff. There were some nice big saw patches in the leads that sounded great. Not that you have to use any one type of synth for any genre.

any ideas why my studio one v3 x32 won't detect 32bit dune ? fl studio 11 detects it and work but no s1, i have tried rinstall and reset s1 vst blacklist and still nothing :(
