i know exactly what you mean, it's kind of like the way we all look at you. That didn't feel too good now did it? I'm sure that R2R are broken because they're mediocre in your eyes. In that sense they're looked upon in the same light as you look upon everyone and everything. Your sense of what's appropriate must be broken because you tend to say the most appalling shit at the worst time. The pinnacle of the life of a cracker is working your ass off for free only to be labelled as mediocre by someone that coudn't crack an egg. They are an amazing group that has provided us with countless releases that otherwise would have never seen the light of day. Comparing other groups to the brains behind AiR is like picking an amazing scientist and berating him because he's not Einstein. Retire to open space for new crackers? You really have no idea how the scene works do you. There's more than enough space as crackers compete and the irony is that there is nobody to even challenge their "mediocrity". If R2R retired that would be the end but hey maybe after they read a few more of your comments you can help make that happen. I'm actually setting up my workstation right now and during this tedious process there is one constant that I see over and over: R2R, R2R, R2R and it's like they're right there in my studio giving me access to the best tools. Acustica Audio, Celemony, D16, FabFilter, iZotope, Native Instruments, Reveal Sound, Waves, etc. etc. etc. Also just because you don't have a certain release that doesn't mean it wasn't cracked, it could just mean it wasn't released externally and with comments like this it's really no wonder why.

I think that anyone who has the audacity (crap program) to criticize crack groups is not supportive of the scene and should be excluded after one chance to reconsider and apologize. I am a critic yes, but only of the material sometimes, never critical of the hands that feed us.

Lowpass, i guess you try to find an "Excuse" reason for your lack of making quality music, by bashing the crackers who don't deliver you the tools you always wished. Well, R2R delivered more releases than any producer on this world would be able to use for his needs on every project. Products which are not protected by a dongle are not weak at all. You think that the only quality production tools on this earth are the ones protected by a dongle? I don't think so.
R2R provided you more than you would ever be able to use on every project you make.
I started using cracked software, but it was more like a training material for me. Those guys really provided me all the necessary tools to become a better producer, then i when i figured out which tools/products i use the most, i made a selection and i made sure i remember to buy them each time i made some cash from my music related deals.
If there wasn't guys like R2R and other crackers, then i wouldn't have all the necessary material to practice.
I still didn't made it to purchase everything, but my selections list is still in progress. If i would wish so bad a tool like Nexus or Cubase, i'd save up money to buy them.

R2R called themself Assigne for 2 year or maybe more before that peace-out for 2 years so it was not exactly a new group when R2R first hit the "market"
