First time trying to install just a few plugins instead of the usual R2R all plugins release. I don't really know how to proceed with this.

I installed Waves Central. Now questions:
1) do i need a waves account to download plugins?
2) do i install plugins before replacing the files?

I usually good with reading and understanding the nfo and instructions for installs but this one I'm unsure how to proceed

Hi there! I did everything in this thread but still in DEMO mode. The only thing I haven't try is the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle from beatmaschine. Does anybody have it? Could you send me that file? I'd be very grateful.

first of all - thanks to this great community here.

this patch works like a charm !
1- i installed v15 ultimate directly from wave central app (with my waves login details), on previous v14 ( no need to uninstall previous pack! )
2- i did the "RET PATCH" magic
3- i Opened Terminal and Write :
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -
push Space Bar
Drag and drop "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" to Terminal window, Enter my password, Press Enter, quit terminal app and restart my mac.

* i installed on my macbook and mac studio M1 max with no issues. ( sonoma 14.5 )

i did the same steps on my both machines and it works perfectly and smooth.

I’m trying to follow every single step, but still doesn’t work, waves is still in Demo Mode, I have a MacBook m3 sonoma 14.4
I’ve done every step from the RET.txt and also done the sudo codesign terminal. And nothing.
Could you write all the steps that u’ve done in a list pls. Cause it feels like I’m the only one.

To install Waves plugins via Waves Central (and then apply the RET Patch) do I necessarily need to create an account on the Waves website?

Yes. If you don't have one - open new, login from the app, download what ever you want and than - do all the "ret magic"

Did it right.
Followed the instructions, after doing them, done also: Open Terminal and Write :
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -
push Space Bar and dragged the Bundle.
After that restarted the computer - DEMO version still on.

I have a problem, For my Mac m3 Sonoma 14.4 i still see demo version. I will write what I did in the specific, maybe someone knows something…
I’m trying to download and open waves plugins on Logic PRO 11.01.
1. At first I’ve deleted everything that is connected to waves and waves center. (Everything literally)
2. Then I’ve downloaded waves center and in the offline mode downloaded Waves ultimate (without clicking SD/HD, so it was not selected - empty)
3. Once it was downloaded, I’ve opened the Ret folder and followed the steps inside. By replacing all the files inside the waves folders.
4. After doing all the steps I did the terminal sudo codesign… command in the end
5. Restarted my Mac
6. Opened logic and waves was still in demo

have you replace WavesLicenceEngine.Bundle or replace WavesLicenceEngine in WavesLicenceEngine.Bundle ?
it's important to replace the file in WavesLicenceEngine.Bundle
For that right Click > show content package > and find WavesLicenceEngine and replace in this.
After that Codesign WavesLicenceEngine.Bundle.

yes i've replaced WavesLicenceEngine from patched folder RET to library> application support> waves> Modules >WavesLicenseEngine.bundle> contents> macOS.

After that I made: sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -
push Space Bar and dragged the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle (From library> application support> waves> Modules >WavesLicenseEngine.bundle)
And than restart machine but nothing, still in demo mode


The only doubt I have at this point is the .wle file, cause at this point it’s the only thing that may go wrong.
Does anybody have a solution on how to extract the keygen on Mac from exe? Cause I’ve did it trough my friends windows pc only the first time, but wanted to retry to extract it again.

Is it confirmed that the keygen is only one and always valid, or do we need to generate a new one every time?
