Yeah, for me the gui strains my failing eyes.... what you have to do, is pick another skin, save the patch, close SM2, and then reopen it, and the change should be applied. It's a bit of a shame you can't really scroll through them to see which works best for you clearly, but try that....

That's how it is, legit do the same, reading hexwars notes
this is basically the same you get with legit:
Untouched binaries (plugs) and a valid license.
Only thing I'm sure is legit behave exactly the same :)

maybe someone can help me, I switched to the player skin but don't know how to switch back to the default, I know you can get to the skin menu using the arrows on it, but once I select a bank it doesn't open up when I open another instance? There isn't a settings page since its the player gui?

i can change the skins on the right under settings
but not on the top of the plugin like in the manual ?

if it comes to the worse and you get stuck on a player skin
remove these skins from here after you close the plugin,
C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins\KV331 Audio\Resources\Skins
SM-800X
AnalogMaster
Player Development Skin

and just use these ones.

at first i was, but remember for the player skin you use the arrow to select the gui from the main window, there are two options for gui, preset and global, use global to change the skin, then insert new instance and done :)

Another thing: in AU/VST/RTAS/AAX folder there should be a SynthMasterFolders.txt
pointing the plug-in to the resource folder where the license and presets resides.
The installer should place all things properly, at least here it did.
