Poly-Ana is finally here! Get ready for a new experience in virtual analog synthesis! Poly-Ana uses a different approach than most other VA soft-synths which we feel delivers a sound more authentic to the early analog synths that inspired her features. This "brute-force" method admittedly requires more processing power than other common techniques, but is a far truer model of the functioning of real analog instruments. If you obsess over the quality of your sound like we do then you won't mind using a bit more CPU power to help get you closer to that real analog sound; a sound that so many other VA synths fall too-far short of. (Note that Poly-Ana also offers a Quality option to reduce CPU usage during performance-time at the expense of sound quality.) Poly-Ana's voice architecture is an ambitious combination of all the best features of the famous analog classics, plus a few new features (totaling 208 controls, plus a full 5 octave velocity sensitive virtual keyboard!) which, while possible back in the day, would have been prohibitively expensive to implement in hardware.

But as a software-only product, Poly-Ana doesn't face these limitations, and we held nothing back in designing our "ultimate analog dream synth". Combine this with a classic styled design that puts every parameter a single click away, with large, easy to grab knobs and switches that behave like the real-world items; and with no hidden drill-down menus so that each and every control is prominently displayed out where you can see it; Poly-Ana offers a true alternative in software synthesis.

POLY-ANA CHANGES

Custom backgrounds now working again on Windows and added to OSX. Custom backgroud files (Poly-AnaBG.png and LilPoly-AnaBG.png) go in the same folder as your license key file.
Fixed swapped positions on L’il Poly-Ana for bank: and prog: load buttons.

after testing this on win 7 64bit i believe that assign's release is far more stable! peace!

THE INSTRUCTION FOR INSTALLATION:
- Copy all plugins or selected ones into your VST plugins path.
- Create folder manually (for "key")
path for Windows x64:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Admiral Quality\Poly-Ana\
path for Windows x86:
C:\Program Files\Admiral Quality\Poly-Ana\
- Use pre-generated key (or generate a new own one with keygen) (see folder R2R) and copy your key into "manually created folder" path.
- Your synth must show that it has been registered.

In my case, both x86 and x64 work on Win7 x64.

Pay attention! I posted full changelog since the latest 1.191. It is said there that they have changed registration. In changelog everything described in detail how to register. Turn your logic on, guys!

Many thanks for that molokosos. I couldn't work out how to recreate the install. The lite version was getting in the way. Very useful post. I think the paths for x86 and x64 are inverted though.

i deleted the lil-poly ana and now it's working like a charm

I am confused.
On a mac. I create the folder : ~/Library/Application Support/Admiral Quality/Poly-Ana/
then put the 2 components and .key file into the folder.
Then I should run logic and it would appear?
But, there is nothing in Logic showing (and also au manager).

Do I need a previous version?

Only keyfile go in that folder. Au goes in AU folder, vst in vst folder.

I had completely forgotten I had to do that with components.
I did what you suggested and it runs. However, it is in demo mode and when I start it up, I get this message in a box:
Error: Can't create /Users/NAME/Library/Application Support//Admiral Quality/Poly-Ana.ini (You may need to create this folder manually.)

The Poly-Ana.key file is located in Library/Application Support/Admiral Quality/Poly-Ana

Running mavericks btw.

This synth is sweet and can really pull off some excellent sounds. I highly recommend that people check it out especially if you're an analog synth freak. It has a punch and weight that you don't always see translated well into the digital domain and great sounding filters. It goes without saying that the developer should be supported because these guys sure as hell deserve it.

I also have a question if anyone could save me time for a change. Initialize? I will read the manual when I get a chance but too much to do right now.
