Yep, .plist are a classic thing on Mac, almost all keys and preferences are saved in .plist files… But you have to find the right one, they're all over your system ! lol

ok, finally I did it on PC!

start regedit, search for your current EZMIX2 serial number

delete the associated registry entry

then start EZMIX2, it will ask for a new serial

Anything's working on Mac here!But many of the expansions need an updated version of the Plug Ins to get used so the latest version is needed!

everasia - can't find my current serial in regedit. Did you just use <CNTRL> F to find?

StinkyPat yes, you can also search for it manually, mine was in (WIN7 x64): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Wow6432Node->Toontrack->EZMIX2

StinkyPat, search Regedit then under EDIT drop down, Find EZMIX2

I had 4 or 5 entries after search had ended and the bottom one was SERIAL. I deleted the reg key and all worked fine

If so i think i just installed it today (the one that has just been released)..but it's still asking for an update to get the others preset's libraries installed..

I had to uninstall the works including all the hidden files and start from scratch to get rid of the problem you are having.

when adding new expand. it said wrong auth

Heres the deal with this i found..... If you already have EZMIX 2 installed and update over it. it keeps the old serial. The old serial does not work with the new activater. i had to delete the plist for EZMIX2 that has the serial number and rereg EXMIX2 with the new V3.0 keygen

working fine on both OSX Mavericks & Windows 7 64bit

On OSX mavs Plist can be found Users>shared>toontrack>Preferences delete exmix2.plist then reinstall ezmix2 ver 2.0.8

On windows open regedit goto HKLM\Software\Wowo6432Node\Toontrack\EZMIX2.... delete ezmix 2 folder then reinstall ezmix2 ver 2.0.8

when you open EZMIX2 activate with the new v3.0 activated and that will install the new form reg key to use V3 activator

to activate EZIX2 or preset pack on the pop up in exmix2 select offline on the bottom left. in the key gen select what ever preset you want

(MAKE SURE THE SERIAL KEY IN THE POP UP MATCHES IN THE KEY GEN SERIAL ITSELF ) the press Authorise (bottom right)

Copy that AUTH code that is generated and then in the POPup in EZMIX2 press paste in the auth field (Last row) and ok and you should be

good.

B- For a clean install on windows :
( if you dont wanna fill the list in Control Panel // add/remove programs )
1-extract only the file located in:
thearchive.rar\name_EZmix_Pack_Win.zip\name_EZmix_Pack_Win\Contents\Presets\
2- copy that file (it does'nt have an extension) to :
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Toontrack\EZmix\Presets
( path is for win xp )

AVG is known for their false positives and they flag hack tools as viruses automatically whether they're malicious or not. My suggestion is to install something more file-sharing friendly.

where is the new activator? I have the one from 2.08 release but i don't see one in this pack release...am i crazy or confused or both lol. thanks for your help guys. i deleted the registry key and reactivated but all packs still greyed out.

USE YOUR 2.0.8 KEYGEN , each pack is at the top of the list
all products starting with "Toontrack EMX"

if you use latest R2R realease v 2.0.8
Each pack need to be unlocked one at a time with the keygen

A little long to register but well worth it.
