Sample Logic Fanfare KONTAKT-MAGNETRiXX screenshot

TEAM MAGNETRiXX | 30 January 2013 | 20.2 GB
Sample Logic and System Blue are proud to announce Fanfare, a ground-breaking Kontakt Player virtual instrument pairing the DCI World-Champion Blue Devils marching brass with the award-winning sound design of Sample Logic. From traditional marching brass to full-blown cinematic soundscapes, Fanfare delivers the definitive marching brass library for educators and arrangers, and an extraordinarily versatile and inspiring construction toolkit for film, TV, game composers, producers, and electronic musician.

Tapping into the mind of premier wind and brass arranger John Meehan, Fanfare features a broad array of samples recorded by Leslie Ann Jones on The Scoring Stage at Skywalker Sound (Lucasfilm Ltd Company) and on the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium (home of the Buffalo Bills) by Grammy® Award winner Frank Dorritie. The indoor recordings were done at close, mid, and far microphone placements, while the outdoor recordings were captured with state of the art stadium surround sound recording techniques. The resulting sonic textures range from full stadium ambience to an “in-your-face” 85-piece brass ensemble, with all of the recordings capturing The Blue Devils’ signature sound of amazingly inventive chords, avant-garde clusters, swells, and organic brass effects.

Fanfare not only boasts the finest traditional marching brass samples available, but extends the library’s sonic reach via Sample Logic’s signature “blurring the line between music and sound design” programming techniques. Starting with the traditional brass recordings, an entire library of morphed “cinematic” multi-sampled instruments was created, putting not only world-class marching brass at your fingertips, but also an inspiring array of melodics, pads, leads, stingers, impacts, transitions, atmospheres, and articulated rhythms–all organized into easily accessible, production-ready presets.

The INSTRUMENTS & MULTIS:

A complete collection of traditional marching brass instruments (trumpets, mellophones, euphoniums, tubas, and trombones) recorded with multiple round robins, multiple dynamics, and up to five microphone placements
Scoring Stage: Individual instruments and sectionals
Stadium: Large sections and full ensemble
A complete collection of evocative morphed cinematic instruments and rhythms
Atmospheric/ambient soundscapes and stinger construction kits
Arpeggiator/Arpeggigater rhythmic instruments
Swipes, scrapes, impacts, and reverse transitional effects
Performance-ready multis (playable interactive preset templates made from multiple instruments)

The FX

Fanfare offers unprecedented control over sound and performance, thanks to Sample Logic’s custom-designed Kontakt Player interface, one of the most advanced Kontakt user interfaces to date. Building on the exclusive “multi-core effects sequencer” first introduced in their Cinematic Guitars collection, Sample Logic puts complete, customizable user control right at your fingertips, with sequencers, LFOs, programmable arpeggiation, a unique Rhythmic Articulator, and a fully integrated multi-microphone mixer. Fanfare boasts over 40 screens of powerful, intuitive user interface controls!

Sample the future: The Arpeggigater

We are proud to introduce a powerful addition to Fanfare… The Arpeggigater

The Arpeggigater allows users to design custom gate sequencer patterns with effects simultaneously. This extremely powerful addition allows for infinite sound-sculpting results.

Swirling the space: The Spinner

All of Fanfare’s multi-mic instruments include a sound-swirling spinner effect. This effect allows users to not only change the listeners perspective around the concert hall (Left to Right and Close to Far), but also allows you to automate the listening position swirling the sound with your own custom patterns.

Hi all

does anyone know how to make it work?

To me does not load the library, and if I try to upload a file menu tool tells me that the library is encrypted.

On another pc I installed kontakt player 5.0.3 and with that works perfectly, but I can't install kontakt player on pc music because otherwise some libraries can't make them work ...
Does anyone know if there is a way to run Fanfare with Kontakt 5.1????? (HELP)
Thank you

I'm getting the "this patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded unless the respective Library is registered properly" error

Don't know if this will help or you'll know this already, but anyways ... This kind of error usually happens when you try to load an individual instrument from the files menu while in fact you should add instruments as a whole (i.e. as a library) from the library menu. So, i suggest you try to add the library selecting the main folder (i.e. the one from which the rest hang) where you had installed the library when it ask for library folder and see what happens.

On the other hand i see that some fellows here have problems in adding this as a library ... I'm sorry i can help you more as i didn't download (still) this library.

kontakt player gives me the same error

I don't have access to the picture right now ("403 - Forbiden" error) but if i recall well i think that the screenshot showed that you already had the library installed, so it seems that it should work dunno . Anyway, i'm downloading the library right now. Allow me a couple of hours and i will tell you something after (if it's too late at night it will be tomorrow) when i will try to install it in my Kontakt v5.0.3 (k'd) MacOS 10.8.2.

EDIT: Hey, wait, something has come to mind: are you using a legit kontakt or a k'd one? ... Because, sometimes k'd libraries seems not to work on legit kontakts.

BTW, Thanks a LOT Sunny!

@xendroster

Today i'll go to sleep a little bit late! yes ... Anyway, finished already my download and uncompressed the archive, then started Kontakt (v5.0.3.MacOS.Dynamics on MacOS 10.8.2), added library and ... everything sounds GREEEAAAAAAAT (despite at 2:20 at night it's not the case to put the sound aloud no ).

So, don't know what could be happening to your installation dunno . Maybe if you delete any traces of kontakt (and i mean really ANY traces) on your computer and install it a new it could work (try first with v5.0.3 that as you can see it works fine). On the other hand, and as i told you, sometimes k'd libraries conflict with a legit kontakt version (or viceversa). Another thing that may help is uninstall *completely* the library (i.e. taking care to delete/editing also any config file that could make reference to the old location), and install it in a completely diferent folder, import it again and see what happens.

Anyway, don't hesitate to ask for more help, as i'll try to help on anything is at my hand. mates

Soulintruder,
djintel,

I dislike it too... and actually I think Sample Logic Sucks... never heard anything by them sound good. They record anything to get a huge library of 20, 30 50 GB but you don't hear a single patch with velocity layering
