I don't get this downloaded.
Katfile, Rapidgator and Filefactory all failed to download after about 50% free user.
What a frustration people not using Zippyshare or another fast and solid website to upload their stuff to earn $2 per 1000 downloads.

I was wondering about the VST3 versions of u-he products.
I knew there used to be some issues, but with these I only see warnings bout VST for Filterscape and Uhbik.
So I looked on their website and saw Known VST3 issues

Is it best to install just the VST2 versions of u-he products?
[Considering the CC control issue, I wonder if i should have only installed the Vst2 versions of every vendors' products that has Vst2...

But perhaps that is just on the 'input' part of the midi, and once a parameter is being controlled, that parameter can be assigned to control others?

I wonder if this is not so much a problem with the Vst3 standard as it is a problem with the way certain u-he products are designed...
Or what?

Yes, I have a "64vst2-Hold" folder that I don't have scanned.
I keep ones there that have Vst3, but I might need the VST2.
I move my Toontrack Vst2 there, and then browse there to select them to use with the standalones.
This way keeps fewer VSTs to be scanned if the Vst3 seems ok.
I also have some VSTi with alternative skins, and some as alt versions for special cases.
I also have a VST3-hold to put any that cause problems for testing.

I fuckin' Love you guys! Ever since I returned to Mac OS I have been without my Hive 2. I love it so much I was forced to settle for dealing with the white noise in my recordings! And because of it I couldn't use Hive 2 for my bass parts!
