Missing .ops File
For those who couldn't find the .ops file, uninstall the program and do a new install from scratch. Just this time add a step on top of R2R's instructions:
1. Start Virtual Guitarist and close it.
This first step made all the difference for me. Hope that helps!

I hade the same problem . but the OPS file is on your computer believe me.
This is what i found out the exact location is :

C:\Users\you_user_name\AppData\Roaming\UJAM

Otherwise click on C: drive then press Ctrl+F (find) then type in *.ops

The file is there. Use the patch to point it in that direction

Took me 3 hours to find out but now it works and the plugin is amazing !

@Tieske I didnt find it there either Thanks tho!! Let me ask a question, when it says to open the plugin and close it, its in the DAW and comes up trial expired, buy it, or login in screen, right?

That's right on the other hand i didn't use the host file first and didn't patch first. After installation i opened the guitar plugin and played around in demo mode.

After that i let windows search for the *.ops file (let windows search your drive)
Then the file came up. Then i used the patches that come with r2r like it says in the readme file, only i knew now where the patch could point at . Then all worked fine.

ps make clear that in the folder options the option is on that says that you can see all the files and folders when browsing. Otherwise the folders are not visible.

Please search fot the *.ops file on your locale drive. It's really there.

Follow the instructions who dont install correctly ;

1. Install Virtual Guitar.
2. Run Virtual Guitar on your DAW as demo and close it.
3. Now you can check to be sure " C:\Users\´´your name´´\AppData\Roaming\UJAM " for .ops file.
4. Run keygen, patch the plugin(s).
5. Input your Email to the keygen and click "Generate".
6. Choose " C:\Users\´´your name´´\AppData\Roaming\UJAM\VG-IRON.ops
7. Run hosts patch, or block "www.virtualguitarist.com".
8. Activated, enjoy :)

ok thanks, that actually makes more sense doing it in that order. The R2R Instructions seem backwards then. They tell you to patch the plugin before opening it and closing it. But when i do it in that order Cubase doesn't recognise it.
