SIGNAL is the world’s most powerful pulse engine, combining the warmth of fat analog and digital synths with beauty of organic instruments. Released on March 31st, SIGNAL has seen incredible success finding a strong following among composers, producers and sound designers alike.

The new expansion packs, Tape Loop and Cinematic, each offer 125 new Pulse Instruments (presets) made by Output’s leading sound design team. Adding on to SIGNAL’s existing 500 Pulse Instruments, SIGNAL owners now have an even greater arsenal of starting points.

Tape Loop includes pulse instruments utilizing SIGNAL’s proprietary Looper, a feature much like a tape loop infinitely repeating while a note is held. This fun and unique tool ranges from gritty, worn out tape repetitions to clean minimalist patterns, all of which loop in real time and lock to tempo.

Cinematic features pulse instruments begging to be placed in film and TV. The 125 presets were all created with the composer in mind stretching from beautiful and haunting atmospheric pads and pulses, to high energy cinematic plucks and sequencers.

Undercova, that's because when Cat was active here, he would remove and punish anyone who even disagrees with him now that members feel the change, i don't blame them for speaking about it

Omg what a great community... Fuck this...

quote by UndercovaFunny when Cat was active here no one said a word

I want to type a complete response but I'm laughing too hard to do it

Plenty of words were said, and then they were involuntarily deleted.. The one that lacked bravery was the censor, not those who spoke up only to be erased.

Thanks for the reply - my mistake (there was the orig folder which I added the extras to, just couldn't remember!) ...
But still no joy . Also tried the Glow presets - same result. No worries tho .... will wait for 1.2 update :)
PS - The presets are seen in the list, they just don't load - even after the scan or init are clicked....
Thanks again for the input - aprreciated.

Hello everyone, here`s how it works on Mac, PAY ATTENTION!

First, make correct path to snapshots by pressing the tool symbol in the upper left corner, then click on "Instrument Options" on the left. Pop up box will appear, you choose "Snapshots" and then you press "show" or "create", dont remember what it says. You will have to create a path, remember this, default is "x/documents/native instruments/user content/signal/signal"
Place cinematic and glow snapshot folders into this folder, and the rest as explained by Undercova above and do the scan!

Press toolbox symbol again to go back. Then press the camera symbol on the upper right side (to the left of the solo/mute/ buttons), the snapshot menu will show up underneath where it says "Signal", click on the arrow and you are good to go.....

Thanks to the provider(s) of these presets!

Just do the scan and stop it! The presets are snapshots!

Re Toolbox: know what a wrench is??? Just click and follow the instructions above.

The presets are snapshots, I guess this is because Signal does not have a folder structure re presets. Signal`s original presets makes 500, with 2 exp. we are up to 727! The Snapshot solution is smart because otherwise we would drown in presets in the preset window.

Actually, I think if you just put the presets in the right folder, you dont need to scan, just load the snapshot, it`ll know where to find the preset.
