DARK INDUSTRIAL EZX
A BEAST-LIKE MACHINE.
A massive EZX tailored for industrial rock and metal, dark electronic beats and cinematic sound design.

Inspired by anything from industrial metal to dark electronic beats and cinematic sound design, this EZX presents a fathomless fusion of warped, menacing and multi-layered textures of cutting-edge sound design. In total, more than 400 audio sources covering anything from acoustic drums and percussion to electronic drum machines, foley, ambience and effect noises are included. Using elaborate chains of effects and outboard, each individual sound was engineered, re-amped or remixed for a tangibly raw, gritty and distorted feel. With these sounds as a base, 31 mix-ready presets were created, each offering its own unique hybrid kit. Combined, the contents of this EZX will lend you a massive body of sound that melds the two worlds of acoustic and electronic into a sinister synthesis of skewed percussive go-tos for any track in need of a viscerally dark aura.

To add, the intuitively laid-out interface offers dedicated pads for subs, risers, atmosphere and more, enabling you to use this EZX as a one-stop shop for fully produced beat foundations as much as a source for special effects. Lastly, a basic collection of MIDI files composed to go with each kit preset is included. This means that you don’t only have the sounds, you also have a starting point for the groove – one you can take virtually anywhere using the framework of creative features in EZdrummer 3 or Superior Drummer 3.

Sometimes, complete darkness is the most vivid and creative color of them all. When painting blindly – void of context and contour – there are no dots to connect, lines to cross or outer bounds to shun. This is an EZX for just that: fearless audio exploration and utter experimentation.

Tailored for industrial rock and metal, dark electronic beats and cinematic sound design
Acoustic drums/percussion and re-amped drum machine sounds
Percussive elements and foley sampled from a rich variety of sources
More than 400 individually engineered source sounds
Featuring all-new recordings made in different studios during 2022 and 2023
31 mix-ready kit presets with one set of corresponding MIDI grooves for each

GREAT FOR LAYERING!
While this EZX is amazing as is, it can also serve as a great resource for creating interesting percussive textures in combination with more acoustic-sounding drums. In this demo, The Rock Foundry SDX answers for all regular drums while the Dark Industrial EZX handles the top layer of gritty loops and effects. The menacing synths? Of course the Dark Industrial EKX.

THE KIT PRESETS.
These audio demos show all Dark Industrial EZX kits with their accompanying MIDI grooves. The examples were recorded directly out of the EZX using the included kit presets and various amounts of automation of the preset knobs in the EZdrummer 3 mixer. No external instruments or post-processing effects other than master compression/limiter were used.

You're linking the wrong MIDI. It's now been REPACKED with the correct MIDI folder.

The added MIDI is incorrect, that's the Ugritone Industrial Metal pack for anyone wondering

if the included MIDI files there is nothing over 100bpm regardless they sound good and who ever packed this went to a lot of effort to make midi sets for each preset.

note I've tested a few of the preset demos on the TT web site with what's in this midi pack and they are dead on. so maybe its duplicates from another release but it is what TT is saying comes with the release

I just tested it and I think it's a lot of fun and sounds good, also works in latest SD3 but looks better in EZ3

epic af, got 2 songs running with it now
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

It’s not bad just a lot of recycled stuff from old drum machines. I was hoping for something more unique.

Does anyone know if there's a way in EZdrummer to change the metadata associated with MIDI clips? That first one "Acid Square" comes up as being 100bpm, which it's obviously not. It's not even a multiple of 100.

all the BPM next to midi track are what they are ment to be played at. you have to set EZ drummer S drummer to that bpm. default is 120 if you dont. the bpm is not automatic it plays at what ever the player is set at

Any idea where the midi folder goes? The midi folders usually start with a number. This one doesn't...

...oh wait. figured it out...redowloaded and this one is good 1945@...

thanks!

where did you put it? I tried multiple locations and it isn't showing up in EZD 3

Put it in the midi folder with the rest of the midis.

You need the foldername to have the 1945@ before the folder name.

Then you find it under Dark industrial in groove section.

Not working for me with a real version of SD3. Yes, it's in the EZDrummer/Alt Lib folder. Yes, the path is properly set. It sees the midi files, but not the kits. Any ideas?

Same here, could not see it on SD3. Every path is right, latest SD3 version, EZD3 reads it but SD3 does not.

I fixed mine so it would work. When will we have the Dark Industrial EKX for EZ Keys 2?

Just a note:
The midi was placed in the expansion folder.
It should be placed in the "MIDI" folder in the library
