Dodukoi, hello, ive downloaded CD4, and it works. But the first time, parts 7 and 8 were corrupted. Ive deleted parts 7 and 8, and ive reloaded them , but from other servers : it was ok. Same thing with cds 2 and 3 with some parts. So, the problem is the same with all the cds of this pack : it depends on the servers. Ive used 6 servers at the same time, one part/server to download quickly, so ive tried again but ive changed everything; for example, ive downloaded parts 2 3 4 5 of CD2 from server A B C D, the 4 parts were corrupted, so ive tried again but ive used servers E F C and D, (C and D again, but for other parts than the first time) , and everything was ok. In fact, the files are not corrupted everywhere, it depends on the servers. Some files are corrupted on some servers. Server Y will be ok for some files , but only for some files; same problem with other servers. You have to be lucky, when your downloading. Im not sure, but some servers are better than other servers. Fileserve, wupload, filesonic and uploadstation are the best (for the Motif CDs... usually, i dont know).

And I Found a fix. click on tool icon then scroll down to the Speed knob. turn to zero and adjust the release knob as well.then save sound/over right patch only.you have to do it to each patch,SUCKS RIGHT? So why no do even more add a good script and set up some great effects! And what the hell add a wall. yes

mm4free, i dont understand this kind of message. I have just said : theres a way to adjust the portamento, and ive said : this is not a "must have", you have to tweak, this is not the kind of sound i usually use, i prefer a simple synth and some good programs, "homemade". To select and tweak the sounds of the the motif (3 cds), i have wasted my time during, oh my god ! : 1 hour. If you really like the motif sounds... buy it. I dont like workstation, it was a kind of test. And in my message, ive just said that it was not a great deal to download 35 gigas, but if theres a kind of sounds you really like (bells, plucked and guitars fot me) and if you dont have to download 35 gigas to listen to them, why not.
Very strange the way some people talk and think on forums. Be cool, man, im not "motif man", i have just said, quietly, some things about this download : pros and cons, and ive rectified some things ive seen on some messages. Im a composer, pianist etc, for many artists (and for myself), and i'm very busy : composition, production, tours etc... I have tweak some interesting sounds during one hour, and im not thinking that ive wasted my time. No more, no less.

Today i own 3 go of really interesting motif sounds , thats all. rlkeyboard, sorry ! Theres an easy way for the tuning, but as ive told, because of guys like mm4free, it was my last message. But im sure you'll find another guy who knows audio stuff like me. There are many men (and women) very good with softwares. Ask mm4free, maybe you'll receive a quick answer with what to do (he'll probably explain to you that your an asshole to have downloaded these sounds, but he is a wise man with many solutions for all the problems).

snowbunny, snowbunny is right there is a portato you cannot control in kontakt, each note you play the sound slides up in Kontakt. Dreadful, why do that. But if you have DIRECT WAVE it works fine, sounds with no problems.

ROM, they still use that in the twenty century. Please guys do not believe in something 355 MB, then buy a mute keyboard and load what you need, "RECEPTOR" is a good idea.

For Example. The French Horn solo is just 53 MB of samples, for what we use that, sounds that old keyboards with poorest Small ROM and RAM. You can't work in an orquestra. Good for nothing, the samples on the Motiv are in thirds, here you have the magic of one note sampled, ha, ha.

BUT the wave files ARE the 35 gb!!!!! Not the nki patch name!!!! And YES they are all FUCKED UP , and yes it doesn't work proparly, and I've tried all the presets I could try. Nothing great at all. The BIGGEST WASTE OF DISC SPACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glide yall

I don't wanna assume I'm having the exact same "portamento" issue with each patch as everyone else but I wanted to add a lil clarification cuz some people aren't understanding the fixes and answers that are being given. I feel like it might help to explicitly point out that the pitch/speed value we are talking about turning down at the bottom of the Kontakt window is connected to the "glide" modulation (in the presets I have listened to). Basically, a quick fix is that you can just delete your glide modulator, and the portamento issue should be resolved (if we are talking about the same thing).
