you've heard of soundtracks, ambience, filmscore etc? Not everything is EDM or whatever you listen to. Be more creative and not in the box, not our fault you don't know how to apply certain libraries.

read that post carefully, they’re not dismissing the library and specifically mentioned soundtrack work. I’ve also gotten the feeling they’re referring to from these very stylized libraries, I prefer tools that are a little more raw/less developed. I have a similar feeling with the β€œrare percussion” sample libraries, they contain great stuff, but are already too treated to be as versatile as they might be otherwise.

Thanks Philos, obvs! I think it's a fair point. It is almost unusable, there's no way to even have basic legato / port / slides, which is bonkers when trying to make solo melodies and have left hand comping. Or just solo melody! Fine if you only wanna use it to make chords, not very useful otherwise. (And in a sort of medieval / classical / "fantasy" lib?) At least, there was no way, from what I can see? It's supposed (I guess) to be a competitor to Eduardo Tailiorente? Good luck w/ that, NI.

How do you install this please? I tried so many things, pasted it in so many folders, but I don't get it to work. I can get the GUI to load but that's about it. No sound is coming out. Much appreciated if someone could help

I created a submap in documents/nativeinstruments/kontakt7/LIBRARIES and pasted in there, load the nki but nothing happens, only the GUI loads.

Somebody that could explain what I am doing wrong please? Thanks you advance!

If you're using winrar to extract files make sure that in the "extraction path and options" window, you click "Keep broken files". I had a really hard time a couple months ago with these files but decided to give it another go and everything extracted and is now running perfectly. Thanks a bunch!!!!

"This instrument belongs to a library that is not installed currently" on Kontakt Portable 7.9 by vkDanilov Ableton 12. Added with KTP Library Manager. Anyone know a way around this?
