Works here both in Kontakt (bobdule 7.1.8. win11) and in Komplete Kontrol too (previews works too). It's a little bit strange but It seems, first you have to "install" the old version (you can find it here if you search it) and overwrite all files with these new ones. Maybe there is a file or something which doesn't contains in this new.

NOTE: This is an update, not a full install.
You need to have Scorpio V1.0 installed first.
Then copy this new version on top of it, which replaces some of the files and adds new ones.
Then it works fine.

Afther 1000 test working in this way.....To old folder copy from new Snapshots folder and Scorpio.nicnt. Afther this not copy instruments folder. Create new Instruments folder and put inside folder Samples and Scorpio.nki. Samples folder and nki need be the old and in Data folder from new to old merge. This working for me in Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol. So final structure are: Inside of Main Scorpio folder 3 folder: Intruments, Documentation, Snapshots and Scorpio.ninct. And inside of Instruments folder Scorpio.nki and Samples Folder.

hope original uploader can repost the fixed version for archive purpose. Apparently a lot of people missed the Data folder fix posted here especially when it is on the 2nd page, buried with a lot of comments about how the library is not working.

It's not really working, at least not working with the latest. If you copied new over old, and you look in your samples you will see a 2GB sample file from the new one. and individual samples from the old. So we still need a proper of this.

I'm definitely unable to get this library to load properly. It keeps saying, "Warning - Scorpio was not initialized correctly." Has anyone found an effective solution for this yet?

I'm running Kontakt 7.2.0 in Ableton Live 11.2.10 on macOS 12.6.1.

THIS is the solution by wakiki, however let me clarify the instructions for everyone:

This works 100% - ALL Credit to wakiki!

1) Download the Scorpio Original v.1.0

Install this, then launch Kontakt to make sure that it works first.


2) Download Scorpio v.1.1

Unpack this folder.

Don’t install this. (You will just be replacing some files in your Scorpio v.1.0 Folder)


3) Now, from Scorpio 1.1 Folder, copy the Snapshots Folder and the Scorpio.ncint to the Scorpio 1.0 Folder.

4) Then, in your Scorpio 1.0 Folder create a New Instruments Folder

5) Place the existing (Scorpio 1.0) Samples Folder and the Scorpio.nki into this New Instruments Folder.

6) Now, go to Scorpio 1.1 Folder > Samples Folder > DATA Folder. Copy this DATA Folder to the Scorpio 1.0 Folder > New Instruments Folder > Samples Folder, and hit “Merge”

So the final structure looks like this:
Main Scorpio Folder has 3 items: Instruments, Scorpio.ncint and Snapshots. And inside of Instruments Folder Scorpio.nki and Samples Folder.

The critical thing, I found, was NOT to replace the Data folder with the new version, but to select and copy its contents into the new one, skipping anything with the same name. After that it worked fine for me. MacOS Ventura, M1 Mac Studio, Kontakt v7.8.1.
