Native Instruments SYMPHONY SERIES BRASS SOLO KONTAKT-SYNTHiC4TE screenshot
SYNTHiC4TE | Nov 29 2015 | 17.5 GB
Welcome to SYMPHONY SERIES – BRASS SOLO. State-of-the-art recordings deliver unparalleled sonic depth and realism. An uncluttered and elegant interface accelerates any workflow. And flawless KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series integration immediately puts key parameters under your fingertips. Created for the professional composer, SYMPHONY SERIES sets a new standard in orchestral scoring.

Like BRASS ENSEMBLE, SYMPHONY SERIES – BRASS SOLO was produced in cooperation with Soundiron.

TOP-CLASS RECORDINGS
Like BRASS ENSEMBLE, BRASS SOLO was recorded at Saint Paul’s Church in San Francisco. BRASS SOLO captures the sound of world-class lead trumpet, trombone, first and second horn, and tuba soloists.

Breathtaking post-sustains were achieved by recording two samples instead of the normal three for onset, sustain, and end of note – harder to recreate in software, but infinitely more realistic. All possible intervals were recorded for truly fluid legato performances, and meticulous mic positioning captures the most favorable reflections for solo instruments. The result: 94 fully-playable chromatic articulations and 26 banks of special effect articulations. So real, it’s like conducting the players themselves

REALISTIC PERFORMANCE
Shape performances with Dynamics, Attack, Release, Tightness, and Vibrato controls. Tightness and legato response time make note transitions softer or harder – infinitely useful for precise, angular melodic turns. The Dynamics knob allows you to create expressive real-time performances: create dramatic tonal shifts and long crescendos quickly and easily.

EASY TO CUSTOMIZE
SYMPHONY SERIES – BRASS SOLO adapts to any workflow. Assign articulations to key switches quickly and easily – all articulation types are color-coded for fast visual recognition (mirrored in detail on the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards). To accommodate different composer workflows, the interface provides three options for switching articulations: MIDI note, velocity range, or MIDI CC messages. If required, you can even assign each section to a specific key range to create custom key splits for a particular composition

DETAILED MIX OPTIONS
Open up the mixer to mix the perfect blend of close, mid, and far mics. With individual loading, volume, pan and output routing for each position, you have full control over your mix – plus a range of effect options. All mixer settings can be stored, and easily recalled for other NKIs

I think I am going to be very disappointed to find this sucker needs better cpu than I can afford; lets face it - if I could afford an i7 six core than I wouldn't be here, which makes these releases kinda pointless for most of us; but...
It is not what you've got; it's how you use it.

Nothing to do with CPU! You should understand before saying things are pointless. This is a Kontakt library. If your PC can run Kontakt, it can run these. They may need a lot of RAM, but you can purge samples so it only loads in what you play. I have a system with a 2500K that runs this perfectly fine.

Lear first. Speak later!

I see you either have not much experience with kontakt libraries either have an absolute winner for a cpu; in both of which cases - lucky you!

drdark?
Ummm... he's right, if you don't know how to use the Kontakt Memory Server, then it's your loss. I stream enormous (3TB) of Kontakt instruments and use a MacBook Pro (for my portable studio). No issues whatsoever... because I stream DFD with Memory Server only preloading 18kb in the Instrument Buffer and only load what I need...
Once you figure out how to use Kontakt correctly (which includes setting the Engine, Handling, Load/Import and Memory options) , well then my friend... you won't make silly comments like you did!

Another one with an i7 not realizing these modern libraries don't go with old cpus; what a lucky guy you are - if you were only as...

My 2500k is an i5, not i7, does not have hyperthreading and is at least 5/6 years old. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. I use Kontakt daily, and have done so for several years, since Kontakt 3.

Kontakt libraries have NOTHING to do with CPU! It's more about RAM and your hard drive. For example, if you have 2GB of RAM and a 5400rpm hard drive that is flagging, it would be slow, even if you had a 5960x extreme edition i7.

If you have an old and decrepid 2500k and invest in 32GB of RAM and SSDs to stream libraries from, then it will work smooth as butter.

Please learn before making stupid comments and questioning people who clearly know better!

I have done that, purged samples, changed buffer sizes, and everything else. Kontakt Libraries take way too much RAM and CPU on my end. I had this problem when I blew $280 on a Buminy Hummingturd that I wouldn't be able to run on my 13inch Late 2012 Macbook Pro laptop with 2.9 GHz i7 processor, 8GB RAM and a 750GB HDD. Have you seen how much those things cost????? I paid $1,500 for this one, and I'm still looking for a better PC laptop that isn't a garbage hunk of cheap plastic and doesn't fall apart at the gentlest tap of my fingers. Instead, I ditched Kontakt a while ago. I still use it here and there, but only on my desktop Mac Mini with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB fusion drive, which is still expensive, and pointless in terms of something like a drum or guitar library since I play both in real life, so I can just record them and play them myself - saves time and the endless frustration of my DAW crashing or overloading because I use one kontakt instance.

Looks like we can open the hidden .pkg packages with 7zip, and put it together this way. No need for installer at all.
  Resident 12.05.2011 192

No. Does not work with this one. Missing samples.

Anyone that installed this library yet? No problems?
  Resident 12.07.2011 1 5

Looks like it is an issue if you try to install it over the network. I installed it on the machine i downloaded it on and pointed it to my kontakt drive seems to work :) So yes needs to be local. I also have a domain which i know causes problems sometimes

Actually fleckaum just copied it from fozzyd from demonoid; the torrent was slow so I've tried and succeeded dl from uploadrocket.net - the best dl site I have yet seen!!! But, that is why we will not be seeing it often...

Any solution on the install problems here? I get the message "Please run this installer from the orginal DVD" when using the win installer. So many that have downloaded and none with the same problem?

It is not a windows issue

but you can try move the release folder to the root folder on your drive and running the installers from there

Make sure the folder only contains the 2 installers and all the pkg files

Get rid of the rar files
Greetz..ASSiGN, AudioP2P, ST3REO, 0TH3Rside, CHAOS, R2R.

The problem solved. Must have the Mac-installer in the folder to get it to work. One of the tings i trow away first before i try to install. And if anyone wonders; it take the same time to download second time!
Many thanks for the library Horsemen
