Hello,
It's been a quite while since I've been a regular member of this site. Just love it!! :) You get all the latest releases as soon as they are released. But, from past 2-3 weeks I'm noticing a shortfall in Hotfile links.. :(
Hotfile, I guess is one of the file hosting that offers speed as well as unlimited bandwidth for the premium members... So, plz guys, esp uploaders, plz plz post hotfile links too...!!
download from any file hoster with just one LinkSnappy account
download from more than 100 file hosters at once with LinkSnappy.

MU is not used because most people here are not uploaders. As much as I hate to agree with a potty mouth like Drably, he is right. Sheer stupidity or naivety is the main reason why files get deleted, not just pressure from Hollywood and the software makers.

In this thread there are two uploaders who boasted about the size of their deleted accounts. 2.8 and 4 Terabytes respectively!
That kind of hard drive hogging certainly attracts the attention of the file host. And to add insult to injury, one of these two uploaders shares his entire directory structure with the world at large in every RAR archive. Upon arriving at the destination imagine my surprise that unstead of seeing a short cryptic name like VSLHSO1Kon we instead see a folder called Vienna Symphonic Library - Horizon Series OPUS 1 Orchestra KONTAKT (re-upload) (folder)
And folders like Ableton Suite 8.2.1 - AirISO

What does that tell a curious visitor? It says "Hi folks, my name is Jack Dumass and I am a naive pirate. I just reuploaded my illegal stuff because I had it deleted elsewhere. Delete me, please!"

These guys don't even have the gumption to use URL shorteners like www.tinyURL.com and www.anonym.to in order to obfuscate the link.

-------------

One dedicated "official" file host for Audioz is naive as well. If it goes down, or if all the files are deleted, Audioz becomes instantly useless. What were you thinking???

The only solution to solve all these problems for good is torrent. Anyone who has more than 4 TB of drive space can be a torrent host. Considering the bandwidth that is required to put all that crap on file hosts, you obviously have enough to be a tracker. Luckily for Jack Dumass and equally dimwitted colleagues, the new magnetlink feature of uTorrent no longer requires a dedicated tracking server.

Torrent is the way to go. No more file deletions and no more actions from Hollywood and other vermin.

remix, a three word response with expletive is not a response. your input is useless if you don't explain why you disagree. Didn't I say "Wake up wankers?" So stop wanking already!

Caithleann, stfu & wipe yer wanker off.

i seriously doubt anyone would maintain torrents with the influx of file hosting pay out providers influencing the mass. the lack of concern to keep a ratio is appealing to most, as all they want to do is leech, while the others would rather use their upstream for uploading to file hosting in hopes of a pay day.

torrents have died off in recent years - in both the public & private sectors. ive had better luck finding working links on the net than i have active seeders. then again, i personally prefer downloading from file hosting versus torrents considering the mass DDoS attacks undergoing on every single tracker i've been on is enough to make torrents my last option for consideration. its definitely worse in the public sector, but its almost just as bad in the private sector. i have over 800 ranges completely blacklisted (thats alot of IPs), and these numbers increase every time i download a torrent.

I agree with you... if hotfile is history lets all agree with only one official hosting service. Lets make a poll!!

Let's not.

Drably, I did not tell you to shut up, but I can if you want me too. You whole story about torrents is as daft as your asinine suggestion to create new accounts on servers that have deleted old ones. So, in that regard you are a bloody wanker too.

I have not experienced any of the problems you have experienced with torrents and I don't need to block half the world either. I have never had a dud file or a fake source but then again I am not leeching pornography and virus infested crap that most of the wankers download. You must too if you have such a huge blacklist and bad luck.
I find stuff you can only dream of with torrents. Where do you get your stats on torrents having lost ground? Oh yes, because of the influx of paying file hosts... Well, my friend, believe me, once that Nirvana dies, Torrenting will come back big time. FYI, it isn't dead, it is better hidden from idiots and morons.

@ pablogs86 Putting all your eggs in one basket dude... that is called STUPID!

Torrents are fine, its nice to have the choice. We don't know how lucky we are these days, not exactly hard to download stuff.

I disgree with rossiko, it has suddenly become much harder. The attack on Hotfile have removed them, Rapidshare are better than they were, but still :( Getting at lot of fails on Fileserve in the past three days, and they were very good. Oron, Depositfiles, Uploading etc have always been rubbish and won't change. Megaupload is fast, as is Mediafire, but is that because hardly anyone uses them? Currently Filesonic is giving Hotfile speeds, but it is painful when uploaders post iso's in order to increase download size.

I suggest that uploaders are more careful with file names and more imaginative with hosts. But I'm a leecher, so get what there is :)

Torrents are an option, but for audioz are normally very slow. And unlike on here, there is no good feedback if there are crap. And the feedback and amazing variety of stuff (books especially) are one of the great things about Audioz :)

get some better security and you will visually see such inconsistencies. the chatter has been going on well into two years now, and it sure as hell isn't invisible. most lack awareness or concern for such things, yet 99% of end user software security products fail to address features that would allow for such monitoring. creating blacklists keeps my wanker clean, and my wires live. they arent developing new protocols for nothing ;)

im sure im on every single site you are, and then some. your dreams are on the net before they hit the cloud. in fact, its always been that way. anyways... all private trackers are hella slack, and they only get stock from the net. I can only think of a couple of private trackers that exist that have anything exclusive, and its only exclusive because its older than the smell of stale piss. new shit hits forums/blogs*(especially) days, or weeks in advance before it hits any torrent these days. if you really think torrents are what dreams are made of, i am afraid you have sadly mistaken because you clearly are not a member of the sites which produce the possibility for your claim. so idk wtf you think you are talking about, which is why I say stfu. ktnx :)
