OK, tried everything for the Bass Amp to work

- Found the missing file, it was deeply hidden in the official installation files for Elements (or perhaps Halion? dunno, tired...)

- copied to: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5\VST Sound
==> doesn't work = the plug doesn't find it.

- copied to: C:\Users\T4-Gr4nd-M3re\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound (replace "T4-Gr4nd-M3re" by your nickname)
==> doesn't work

- copied to: C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound (the best place to put it)
==> doesn't work

- Read on the St. forum that for it to work, you have to perform a maintenance with elicenser. Maintenance failed, because I had the 6.11.8, plus I forgot to de-activate antitrial.... /:

- Installed 6.11.9, rebooted, ran antitrial again... but the Bass Amp still refuses to find the missing reverence .vstsound file.

For those who wanna try, here is an archive containing the missing file, plus the 2 others Reverence vstsound files, just in case:

To conclude, so far the info I found is that it is a license problem. Perhaps you need to have some other Stberg product related to Bass Amp installed? Perhaps we need another V.R. antitrial?

...Or perhaps it needs a genuine version of Pro or Artist?

- Could it be an XML problem? in the VST XML folder, there is nothing related to Bass Amp... Or a missing config file... or something in the registry?

C:\ProgramData\VST XMLs\Steinberg Media Technologies

Is has in my case many more sub-folders.

I made cubase 10.5 more stable but dc is not. Also take 2 dc when you make it work and don't get stuck play button play really good. Dc version is really buggy.
I'm sharing dc test 2. I changed some files to make it more stable. I was able to make a project and dealing with dc problem and if you doing manually is working very stable.
If have take 3. I would be happy to try it and make it as stable possible.

Tried the latest take on C10.5. Runs initially not too bad after a cold start. And I see VST-Multipanner working OK. :-)

... and ...

... from C10.5, copied the folder surroundpanner.vst to the N10 folder ... and VST Multipanner is working. Yeaaaaahhhh

Why is it now a folder with a few files for C10.5 and not a single file like in C10.0 and N10?

I replace some things and make much better the cubase 10.5 with the dc problem
and so far is running very stable.
Dc is not stable yet but included in the folder and hope to see a fix soon.

i'm not making more test on cubase 10 since cubase 10.5 for me run very Good. the dc is is not stable for me so i use the C10 Dc test 9 for now is much stable but with few crashes. for now i'm waiting on fix for C10.5.

Note: cubase 10 DC test 7 test is much more stable than test 9.

Know that the minute you have released your Test 7 and I found how great it is, I started immediately doing music with it, adding plugins, playing guitar, etc....

I think that for version 10, your DC patch 7 is simply the best!

...Now we are turned to 10.5, which is now really great thanks to V.R., Mono, Zaka1, you, and finally the TEAMBEAT2019 wonderful Installer, and have real improvements, BUT I'll always keep your V10 Test 7 installed, it is History!

First of all, thank you for this great job. You are becoming a legend.

I have encountered a problem in both C10 and C10.5. In Note Expression it is not possible to draw variations in the editor and a straight line always appears. In Nuendo 10 it works perfectly.
I hope it can be fixed in the next revision.

No doubt 2019 will be the year of Cubase

Everything related to score in Cub./Nu. is very heavily protected, if you read the AiR *.nfo of the old V5, they discovered that, when you try simply to move a note (in the retail versions), there is a big slow-down the first time, only due to protection.

Hope someone will be able to create a patch for that!

Imagine how fast it could be, without this BIG heavily encrypted protection no one (except AIR, just once in the past) is able to decrypt!

For now the C10 dc Test 7 is the best, when it comes to deal with the DC Problem. I get some crashes on bigger sessions but it works really good and stable and also i create an empty project and did a new template and is working really good since . so i'm waiting for a better dc patch forC10 DC test 7.
also unistall cubase 10 installer and put only the test v7 and don't replace the real installer original files, helps even more to make it more stable.
for now i'll wait until a better dc comes to 10.5. i'm moving back to v10 for now.

Note: So far v7 is stable on new projects so i guess that would be the start point and wait for a new DC exe file. Also move test V7 from steinberg folder and it makes more stable C10 for some reason.
i put my folder on Program files and is working a little better.

It is the new VST3 format Stberg is now playing with, the folder includes the XML files which until now was in the "VST XML" folder.

It's a more "compact" (portable?) way of doing things, everything is included in one folder only, the binary AND the presets and settings.

Yes, you're right, but everything runs fine without them and I don't wanna mess things. Some plugs concerned by these XMLs are Nuendo-only, or are related to another version only....

But if one want the supplementary folders, they can extract them from the DC Test 7 (or 9) by the great Je509, or Take 11, by the great Mono (with a big M ).

EDIT: here they are.

Compare the content of this archive to your C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5\VST XMLs folder and subfolders. Extract only the missing folders, if there is.

Can someone take a look at the chord editor please? Nothing happens when I click on any of the tensions. I can change them only by clicking the button below the chord pads. This problem exists in any version I have downloaded so far.

I'm not familiar with chord functions but... In the image above, when i try to click on the third column to make a more complex chord (like an Am11, Am9 or...) it doesn't work, clicking have no effect:



But Chord pads are working, I used essentially presets, didn't tried to change them...

EDIT: Same problem when I try to change chord of chordpads, I can only do simple chords, no way to do for example a Eb7+/G or something like that. The third column is unresponsive.

EDIT 2: Perhaps another xml missing? Will try to dig deep again into the internal files tomorrow, you can never know...

Did you use the TEAMBEAT2019 installer, or another version?
Cause for now, AFAIK it is the most complete version.

Yeah, this is the one right know. Although it gets confusing with all the updates from every direction. Hopefully when DC is fixed for good there will be a complete version with the best of all fixes.
