The One Shot Recorder project has been abandoned and Devine Machine site is closed.
Too bad, the idea was interesting even though it was almost 20 years old...

Does anyone still have an old 2.0 copy for Mac left on an HD?

Did this just never catch on or something? I don't even remember hearing about people using it back then. I always used SampleRobot on PC. And you can do this stuff easily in Logic using the Autosampler. SampleRobot is like 400$ program now.

I'm on Sierra/Logic 10.4.2 and, if I'm not mistaken, there is no AutoSampler in Logic 10.4.2 (or at least I didn't find it).

Do you have another software that can be used as an alternative?

the difference to autosampler etc is that you can use it on the fly, just sampler the daw output to get one shots. Faster than bouncing ! Autosampler and SampleRobot is more to create playable multisample instruments.

never tried the recodrding, but studioones sampler can record afaik.

In studioone or logic we can now drag regions to simply bounce, thats comes close the the speed :/

For Logic Pro, Autosampler was introduced in V 10.5. Probably based on the fantastic product(s) from Redmatica when they bought them out, which you can find on this site. I believe it only works up to Sierra or High Sierra. Whatever one where they dropped Ob C garbage collection. Some autosamplers: Skylife SampleRobot (expensive), SoundLib Samplit. Hasn't been updated in awhile but still available for purchase last I looked. IMHO, if you run a supported OS, grab the Redmatica Bundle from this site!
