Image-Line FL Studio Producer Edition + Signature Bundle v20.6.2.1549 x86 x64 screenshot
Win | 14 February 2020 | 957 MB
A popular sequencer for writing music from Image-Line Software. Music is created by recording and mixing audio or MIDI material. The finished composition is recorded in a file with the extension WAV or MP3, which can be heard in most media players. Since the first edition, the application has undergone significant improvements and changes that have contributed to the great success of FL Studio. The program contains more than 3,900 sound effects that help both compose and edit music. Now more than 80 thousand musicians around the world use this product. The undoubted advantage of the program is its simplicity and accessibility for any novice musician, unlike the professional sequencers Cubase or Logic Pro.

Main machine here, completely uninstalled, then installed new = good.

Other machine here, no uninstall just upgrade install on top = good.

I made this same question about 2 years ago, someone replied that you can install it over the old version. So I've been doin' that ever since.

While scanning down the page, I was kind of surprised at this bit of the promo blurb that caught my eye: "The undoubted advantage of the program is its simplicity and accessibility for any novice musician, unlike the professional sequencers Cubase or Logic Pro."
Is FL finally admitting that they're an inferior DAW?
Seriously? It's an odd way of attracting a new musicians, "We're not professional...but we're simple."
And, has anyone found Cubase or Logic to be difficult to pick up on? When I went on my Find-My-Perfect-DAW quest (mind you, "My," not "The,") a few yrs back, I didn't think Logic or Cubase had a steeper learning curve than most other DAWs...maybe it's just me...?

PRO's: everyone can make their musical dreams come true in a relatively easy way.
CON's: Reggaeton shit and same base kind of music come at hand to whoever cheap-trash-minded, to bring to life all this dimension of pain and disgustingness.

I can't agree 100 on the latter, but FL has progressively become more geared towards certain styles of music and genres that I don't tool with. Besides that, I came from FL Studio and got fed up with the growing number of additions that weren't superfluous, but seemed to take precedence over some basic, core fixes and improvements. I held out for a while, hoping they'd get their sh*t together, but I soon realized I was backing them out of apathy/laziness, having used Fl predominantly once I began making music with DAWs, I didn't want to move on.
I just thought the phrasing was funny.

I’m a life long Ableton dude, but I was recently intrigued to check out and try FL Studio in an effort to better appreciate the hype coming from FL. Coming from Live (and having a solid understanding of Logic, which I would consider the most basic and straightforward DAWs in the game) I found FL Studio insanely convoluted and complex. After tinkering in FL Studio unsuccessfully for An hour or so, I flipped back over to Live to a very welcomed breath of fresh air and simplicity. It’s just so much easier! To each his own though...I know FL Studio is popular, but goodness it’s such a mess in my opinion compared to Live and Logic.

"I flipped back over to Live to a very welcomed breath of fresh air and simplicity." Haha, yeah, I could see that. I much prefer Logic to Ableton, but at the end of the day they both lent to a much smoother workflow than FL when I tried them out for a handful of weeks. FL never seemed convoluted or complex, but it definitely felt almost claustrophobic and largely disjointed in it's hodge-podge way everything was/is located (I still check in on FL updates from time to time to see where it's gone.) And, as I mentioned above, it just seemed to be evolving more into a hype-DAW than a serious workstation...kind of like hype-Laptops--'cuz, ya'know, if you want to make *good Trap/EDM/Future-whatever music, you gotta have a Razor. The only thing I missed in FL, initially, when I finally decided on Studio One, was the MIDI roll...but I now find that I like the S1 MIDI page much better all around.

Actually FL Studio is really powerful and maybe even has more features than ableton, but the workflow seems to be a problem for more advanced musicians who try FL Studio, because it's a little different to other daws. If you are a beginner it's the easiest daw, I think, and their marketing is somehow more towards beginners, and people who don't really need advanced features... People who want to make "beats" and not music mostly.
After they killed Harmless-chan and Harmor-chan and made their close button on the right, I thought maybe they want to look like a more serious daw now, but with this marketing phrase you quoted it's looks like the total opposite... The first half is even ok, but why the need for Logic and Cubase-Bashing? If it was Ableton I would understand lol

ugh i was wondering where the synth waifus had gone, I haven't touched FL in years and they were one of the first things I looked for when I installed it again, now there's pretty much no reason for me to open FL anymore

yeah that was the first reason to switch to my (legit) cubase.

When they kill FL-Chan too, they are worse than hitler!

The same as you will say about the complexity and how divisive Ableton is, a user of Fl Studio. And I tell you I use both Daw's equally well. Many times even in collaboration (ReWire link) of the two programs. Both have their pros and cons .... in my opinion Fl is much more integrated and closer to logic, analog studios

I think Russification is only if you want Russian in the user interface. For non Russian users, it's not necessary.

FL user: Yes it's great.

Non FL user: No...try my DAW.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I've tried pretty much all major DAWs and honestly, they're all great but they all have some niggles.

here my fav list : from B to W!
1. STUDIO ONE (legit)
.
.
10. FL STUDIO
.
.
1000. PRO TOOLS (industry standard)!!

I'm also starting to lean over to Bitwig. My muscle memory is still in favour of Live and S1 - but I like the workflow much better in Bitwig.

To whomever was involved in making this upload possible, thank you very much. This is one of the core ingredients in my music production. Also I would like to mention, seeing this upload on AudioZ is as rare as seeing a unicorn! Hah.
